My wife and I recently purchased our home which is around 23 years old. It had the square footage we were looking for but needed some updating and didn't have the open concept look we wanted.
I read about Greater Toronto Contractors and liked what they had to offer for major renovations including taking down load bearing walls, which in our case we needed to do. Their Tarion warranty and experience with applying for the proper permits for this kind of reno kept my mind at peace.
My wife and I met with the licenced contractor who gave us an estimate which was very fair for the kind of reno and update we wanted. Our next step was to meet with the design team and build a 3D portfolio giving us many options for the new look of our home. Once we had an idea of the scope of work we met with our Operations manager, material selection specialist and the crew.
During the reno, we worked with everyone as a team and GTC was there every step with our decisions, any changes and/or upgrades we wanted.
The professsional manner and great communication we received plus the solid work kept us happy with the pocess. GTC worked hard to finish the reno within the time frame we asked and in the end my wife and I got the open concept,high-end,cozy home we wanted in our kitchen, family,dining,living rooms and ensuite.
Not only did we get the professionalism of the company, we made great friends with the people we worked with and know whenever we need GTC our Operations manager and the entire team will be there for my wife and I.
Our next reno will be our basement and I will not hesitate; GTC will be the team for us.
