We noticed, to our horror, a sewage smell in our basement suite. Gross! Luckily, Mehmet and his associate from GVA plumbing were quickly able to solve and fix the problem. They also noticed a pipe they thought was in danger of freezing and helped us avoid that headache. They were prompt, friendly, and extremely reasonable price-wise. They are obviously extremely knowledgeable and don't try to rip you off. In my experience, BEST PLUMBERS EVER!

Our older toilet in our thirty+ year-old home recently needed replacing in our main bathroom. Being busy professionals, we didn't have time to install it ourselves and so hired GVA Plumbing and Heating as a result of a search on Homestars. Mehmet was punctual, efficient and knowledgeable. Mehmet was able to fit my schedule to come by and fix my bathtub train. He was very prompt and efficient and the results look and work great. I will certainly call him again if I need a plumber for anything else.

Mehmet is the proof that good plumbers with reasonable rates still exist (I was losing the hope).
He was on time, gave me the options I had (kitchen sink installation where you had to find some creative ways to do it) and made sure that I was happy with the final result. He is very professional and easy to work with, you are not left with a filling that you were just ripped off.

Needed a washtub in the laundry and a hose spigot on the other side of the house. Mehmet came gave me a quote and explained what he was going to do. Came ack 2 days later and did I in the amount of the and for the cost he quoted. Avian him come back to do a bit more work ext week.

Mehmet is very pleasant to deal with! Great service, accurate with the times and the amount of work that was promised to be done! The work was done neatly with fair price! We called Mehmet to prepare the pipes for taking the old kitchen out, and then again when the new staff should of been connected, third time is for some leakage we had! He is always quick to response and fix any issue that comes up! Would definitely recommend him to any pluming work!

Two years ago we fully renovated our kitchen. This year, the sink began pulling away from the counter because, it turned out, it had not been properly installed in the first place. Mehmet removed and reinstalled the sink efficiently and in his friendly manner.

As part of our kitchen renovation, Mehmet connected our dishwasher and kitchen sink and repaired our fridge hose. He was friendly, prompt, professional and worked creatively to give us as much usable space under the kitchen sink as possible. We would definitely recommend him.
