Disappointed with service level and communicaions
They want money upfront for an agreed upon timeframe. not keen on that but I agreed cuz I wanted to deal with small local guy to help out in these tough days. When we get to unload destination, he says he has to do the math before he can unload. I paid for 3 hrs to unload, he thought one hour. When he realized I was right, no apology. When 3 hours were up, wanted a payment for a full hour to move last 20 small boxes in house. I said no, leave in the garage, I'll move them myself. If he had asked for 15 minutes, I would have paid it if it had been on sidewalk, he would have left them there and
left. Not easy to deal with. I would not recommend and will
tell my realtor (who provided reference) not to recommend anymore. I wanted to help the little guy instead of national firm. Should have gone with national ffirm for the same price . His son apologized for him and said he was stressed. I should be the stressed one, I just uprooted my life.

We appreciate the clients feedback - it was indeed a tough move. We do not appreciate false expectations and accusations. We provided the client with an approximate estimate, which clearly specifies there is no fixed rate. There are many factors involved in a move, which the crew can not handle (i.e moving conditions, weather, traffic, etc.), this is why we, like most other companies, work hourly. The client was provided with a free in-home estimate, along with a detailed quote with our attached contract with all the terms and conditions. One of the terms is a prepayment based on the estimate, this was accepted by the client. On the move day the client disputed, creating unnecessary tension and arguments. Our crew experienced bullying from the client and worked under pressure the entire move. Our crew worked 10 hours with no break. We delivered our promised service, along with a last minute pickup which was not charged, saving the client time and money. Our team is disappointed with the lack of appreciation and these comments.
