We did major renovation to our house with an existing pool built 20-30 years ago. After consulting with a few different pool companies, most are not up to the challenge or refuse to take on a pool renovation and rather install new pools. This is until we met Greg, he was honest and down to earth. He basically listed what we need to have done in order to restore our pool to a usable condition. Our scope of work included a new concrete bottom, all new liner, pumps, heaters, hose, lights, salt generator, safety cover, etc put in. Everything was done on time and with good workmanship. Myself being a first time pool owner had alot of questions on how to start a salt pool, maintenance, chemical balance etc. and greg answered all my questions patiently even after his job is done. Thank you Greg, as you can see in the pictures you have made quite a difference.

Greg and team delivered on time and on budget. Unlike so many jobs where a contractor has multiple jobs on the go, Greg and Team arrived everyday at 7:30am and worked 6 days a week until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The design for our front yard vision was captured perfectly by Classic Pools & Landscaping. Our narrow downtown property now looks bigger with elevated garden beds and new sidewalks. Based on the Homestars excellent reviews and after visiting recent projects done by Classic Pools in Durham Region, along with getting opinions from the end users, we had selected Classic Pools to do work in our back and front yards, which took about a month, most of August 2015. Given the fairly large scale of our project, we did not want to handle various trades (gas/electric/fence/irrigation etc) and the potential scheduling conflicts that could arise, especially due to our busy work schedules. To mitigate this potential issue, we went with the recommended contractors by Classic Pools and were glad we chose this path, as the project went very smoothly, since they have all been working with Classic Pools for many years. Classic Pools provided us many value added features, based on their experience. They provided guidance where needed but yet the final decision was always ours. Even though, prior to commencing the work, we had agreed to a certain design in our contract, however during the actual construction project we were always given the opportunity to make any major/minor adjustments as needed at certain stages. This was very important as some of the features once actually installed, did not look as appealing as they did on paper and had to be changed/tweaked. Overall the project was a success without any hickups. We are very pleased with the workmanship of Gregg. Dave did an excellent job with the Pavers. At the end it felt like a family affair. With Greg's help my family and I enjoyed this summer in our beautifully renovated backyard. The project entailed new landscaping, brick work, and a pool update to a salt water system. He accommodated custom requests such as a slide and lighting in the pool. Greg and his team were courteous and finished the project in accordance with our timeline. Greg and Martine installed our pool 18 years ago and when we needed landscape work for the front of the house they were our only choice. This is one firm that delivers on their promises. The work was carried out on schedule and on budget . They transformed our dull and dreary entrance to something we never could have envisioned. I would recommend Greg and his team without question for any pool or landscape project.

This company came recommended by close friends whom had the the best backyard pool and patio I had ever seen first hand. Greg was very confident in the design and layout plans for the backyard and we trusted him to make good decisions for us. Although our pool was finished in the fall; he recommended we wait till the following year for the pool equipment as he knew the warranties on these items were roughly 3 years and he was right. Why waste time on a warranty when you're not using it? Good call as we had a replacement looked after without issue as it feel under the warranty timeline. The landscaping was on point, but make sure you stay in touch with him to make sure it's exactly what you want as we had a few things we wanted different, no problem at all for him. Also the interloc was immaculate and perfectly done; even had him and his team return the following year to do the front landscaping. A well done plan and excellent workmanship that's stood the test of time, this review is 4 years after the pool and patio/landscaping was completed and 3 years after the driveway and front steps/gardens were completed. (not posting costs as they vary are irrelevant and private)

Greg and Dave are extremely professional and the quality of work is exceptional. They kept us in the loop throughout the process and worked with us to design the backyard we wanted. The turned our backyard into an oasis for our family. The amount of work involved was massive but they completed it on time and left no details out. All of this for a very competitive price for the quality of work. If you are considering putting in a pool with or without landscaping I would strongly recommend you give Classic Pools a call.

We contacted Classic Pools in late 2012 after seeing very positive reviews on Homestars and being quite underwhelmed by some of the other companies we`d spoken to about the work we wanted done. From the moment we contacted them, Greg and Martine were immediately engaged and - quite different from the other business we`d approached - they listened to what we wanted. From the first meeting we knew we'd found the people we wanted to work with. Permit delays put this project off until this summer, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Greg runs a committed crew who are passionate about what they do, and it absolutely shows in their work. Greg was extremely accomodating to changes I wanted to make mid-stream and provided advice and guidance to help steer the end result to one we were thrilled with. Greg and Martine transformed what was a dull and empty space into an oasis that we love.
