Warren and his crew were attentive and responsive. We refinished our main floor hardwood (light birch), and our second floor hardwood (jatoba - cherry). They did a great job on the birch, clean, beautiful. We also have a gas stove in which they made sure was disconnected and connected by a certified gas fitter which was appreciated. Our second floor, was a hard floor to finish, unfortunately it wasn't easy and they had to refinish a few spots a few times, and still didn't get it to what we would have liked, not without trying of course. They were however kind enough to add to the job (at a cost) and add trim to all the rooms to finish off the look. All in all a friendly crew who were easy to work with, wish my second floor had turned out a little better, but my main floor looks great.

This project was a real challenge trying to bring the flooring, in an older home purchase, back to its original beauty. The birch always looks fantastic when refinished but Jatoba is a challenge for everyone who attempts to refinish it! Jatoba has plenty of oil in it and is "hard as a rock" to refinish. This which proved difficult as we tried several of our high priced water based urethanes to penetrate it with out leaving marks. This floor was sanded over and over and refinished over and over but we got to the point where it was how it ended up. In hindsight for the amount of time and materials used, it might have been best to replace the jatoba with the birch strip flooring found on the main floor. But we enjoyed the homeowners very much, loved the challenge and did our absolute best, as we always strive to do! And we are better for this experience!
