Verbal agreement was made over the phone prior to them arriving. When they got to my house, they changed the details - obviously making it more expensive. They told me that there was a 4-hr minimum and extra charges for stairs, after I specifically asked if there would be extra fees. After a continual back-and-forth with the 'manager' on the phone, since they changed the terms of the agreement, I did not want them to do the move. What would have happened if they damaged something? Eventually I called the police because they would not give me deposit back. They finally left after taking the 'travel fee' of $45 - which I reluctantly agreed to. This company is obviously not ethical.
