Concrete Innovations

Hired Concrete Innovations to replace ~350 sqr ft of damaged exposed aggregate driveway. Chris's quote was competitive so I selected them based on the positive feedback on Homestars and their availability.

Mario did almost all of the work and I couldn't be happier. He did all the work per the 4-day schedule set out at the start of the job. He completed each step with expertise and I felt very confident in his work. The worksite was left clean.

My biggest concern I had with a partial replacement was a poor match to the existing 30-yr old driveway, but the match ended up better than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to a neighbor or friend.

Backyard patio. Initial quote and meeting was timely and professional.

Finished product is not what we had wanted. Dual coloring is blotchy and does not look like requested finish. When framing in the patio, they did not do a separate frame by the deck, concrete has seeped through the deck boards which will make it very difficult to remove the deck at a later date. When concerns were raised - we were told nothing could be done. Correspondences were professional but the job does not meet high standards we were led to believe this company could deliver. Looks like amateurs completed the job.

Chris from Concrete Innovations did a great job quarterbacking this project. We had a relatively simple project at two different areas on the side of our property.

I was particularly impressed with how Chris managed part of the job that didn't go as planned. Concrete is in short supply these days, and the building of the forms and pouring of the concrete happened before they could be inspected for correctness. We ended up with a different shape and incorrect finish in the alley. Chris dealt with it promptly, offering to discount the job or to have the incorrect portion removed and replaced with what we had originally asked for. In the end, they cut and jackhammered out the incorrect section and poured a new section of the shape, size, and finish that we wanted. Ideally, it would have been done correctly the first time, but I think with concrete in short supply these days it creates some scheduling challenges. In the end, they made it right.

Overall, the job was done well and we ended up with exactly what we wanted. We're very pleased with our sidewalk.

The front steps that they poured up a hill to my front door are stunning.
Everyone walking by comments on it. Sam provided a very detailed, no-nonsense quote, patiently answered all of my questions and ensured that I had clear expectations of what the job would entail. This was NOT the case with other companies that I contacted for quotes. The job was completed within the targeted timelines. The project manager, Chris, and the crew, led by Frank, were efficient and professional. The final cost was exactly what had been quoted, and was less than half the cost of the quotes I received from other companies. And again, the final result is really stunning! I will upload a photo when the landscaping around the steps is completed.

Nice work left the yard neat and tidy polite and friendly would hire them again if need more concrete work.
