Top To Bottom Renovations/Maintenance

This is my second project with Chris. It consisted of removing the old deck and building a new backyard patio. From start to finish Chris has professionally taken charge of the project and has consistently shown quality of craftsmanship and attention to every detail no matter how minimal it was. He was courteous, always available to answer questions, helpful with creative suggestions to solve problems. To sum up, Chris is very skillful, knowledgeable, respectable and passionate with his job. I will for sure ask Chris to work with me again on future projects.

Chris and his associates were exceptionally polite, efficient and very reasonably priced in the replacement and repairing of our backyard fencing as well as the removal of old fencing materials. He was also very open to answering questions about the work and made sure we were pleased with the progress of the work. We've known Chris for several years and were happy to work with him on our long overdue kitchen reno. Our project included windows and doors, kitchen and floor demolition, electrical and plumbing work, appliance installation and finishes. Chris and Paul are a great team, always on time and maintaining a clean site. Chris provided support and advice in dealing with some of the other trades and was resourceful and flexible when handling changes during the process. We stuck to the timeline and budget and now love our new open and bright kitchen. I learned a lot from Chris about the reno process, and even worked with him installing the backsplash!

Chris is amazing. It is a big word and I don’t use it lightly or without thought. I had a long “Contractor To Do List”. Chris and his staff from Top to Bottom Renovations and Maintenance tackled every job and even a few I did not put on the list. They are courteous and always professional. The work was pristine and made my house look amazing. He looked for alternatives to save me money while always maintaining his high quality of work. His work space was clean at the end of every day to keep me and my family safe. Chris is an honest professional with a lot of integrity. He is just a great down to earth kind of guy who always keeps what is best for his client in mind. I would recommend Chris a hundred times over. I should have mentioned this is the second time I have used Chris and his staff. This is the only contracting company for me! Nothing but gold star performance!!

Chris did a fabulous job on my bedroom renovation. He installed ship lap on all the walls, fixed the crown moulding and painted the walls. The estimate he provided was accurate. He picked up all necessary materials and completed the job in 3 days. He even helped me to move a very heavy piece of furniture. He left everything neat and clean. Chris also installed a split rail fence in the yard. He checked in with me often to ensure i was pleased with the positioning. Ive received many compliments from the neighbours. I would not hesitate to call on Chris again for a other renovation projects! Highly recommended!! Thank you Chris!!

Renovation: Expanded the closet opening and installed mirrored doors and closet organizer for my son's bedroom closet. This is the second project done at my place and I am set to start new ones down the line with him as well. Owner is reliable, personable, and provides accurate estimates. I value dependency and responsiveness in contractors and he has always come out on top on these characteristics. I'm so happy with my closet!! It looks fantastic! I recommend him frequently to friends and family.

I have had the pleasure of working with Chris and his team from Top to Bottom Renovations & Maintenance on three different jobs - and this company is now the ONLY company that I allow to complete projects at my home. Top to Bottom started by building a fence for me at a time when building materials were in short supply. Chris managed to find high-quality lumber and complete the fence both on-time and on-budget. They subsequently did some intricate interlock work. Chris was able to offer both technical expertise and design ideas for this major project. Inside my home, he completed a woodworking project that demanded time and patience. Chris' prices are extremely reasonable, his team of people is polite and knowledgeable. Customer service is #1 for Chris - and this is sometimes a rare commodity in today's renovation market. As mentioned, I ONLY hire Top to Bottom Renovations for my home improvement projects. I cannot recommend them higher!

All of the work was done with a ton of detail, they were quick and efficient, and I would use them again for any home renovation needs I have in the future. Chris also was able to give me advice for things that I could do to prepare for them to come, for example recommending the right tile. When the door needed was a custom size he was able to adjust to make the closest size fit, and save me time and money and effort so I didn’t have to get a custom door made.

We had our original flooring and subfloor pulled and replaced with luxury vinyl plank. We also had some hardwood sanded and refinished.
Chris was a pleasure to work with. It took a long time to get the job going because of delays with Covid. Despite this Chris reached out to us and provided us with regular updates as to his availability. When he finally was able to do the work he arrived on time, completed the work exactly as requested, and charged the quoted price. We would not hesitate to work with him again.

They removed an old kitchenette, freshened the walls with a new coat of paint, lay a new resilient floor over the tile, and installed enough shelving to hold all of my kid’s toys, creating a perfect, warm and inviting basement playroom.
