Contour Construction Group

I found Jeff as a reference from a co worker, In the beginning he promised three workers and 4 to 6 weeks completion its now been 9 months and he is a ghost. Im not sure if he will complete the job! Update.. Jeff left the job not completed. I'm left with Kitchen floor that needs demo, electrical wiring hanging out of the walls and a patio door never ordered as per contract. He just walked away. Never answers his cell phone after the job is 3/4 completed and he has my money.

We purchased a new home with the intention of doing some cosmetic work and a few necessary fixes to the house. We were referred to Contour Construction from multiple people, so we called them to do a walk through at one of our visits. We got a few other quotes but we were most comfortable with contour construction. As the project started the scope of work shifted and contour construction was patient and responsive to our changing priorities. Despite the fact that we had a very firm budget when we discussed our new wish list jeff was able to help prioritize it without having to comprise the end project. The end result was more than we could have ever initially hoped for. After all was said and done a few things stuck out about contour construction. The quality of the work is excellent as jeff has a keen eye for detail. The communication with him was great. He was very responsive and always kept us up to date. His knowledge of construction is amazing and he was able to realistically advise us in terms of budget and timeline with minimal surprises. He tries to work with you and your needs. We really felt that to him we were more than a job and our happiness was the ultimate goal. We have and will continue to recommend contour construction.

We had an incredibly complicated renovation including a full second floor gut and conversion of a duplex into a single home with a basement in need of major structural repair. Jeff and his team tackled each problem head on and were able to deliver terrific results on time and on budget. Couldn't be happier with the end result.

My wife was very apprehensive initially, but the whole process from start to finish couldn't have gone more smoothly, was within budget and did not seriously disrupt our household. From our first meeting we felt comfortable and confident that Contour Construction was the right choice and they did not disappoint. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

At first I was very happy to work with Jeff. He definitely sold himself when he came to our initial meeting and promised he could do whatever we asked. Our job was twofold: 1) to open a wall in our side entrance to create a large walk-in mudroom.
2) The main focus of the job was to replace the tiles in my main floor entrances and kitchen which was a very large area (over 400 square feet). The tiler was unprofessional and showed up for the job with his girlfriend to help him who didn't know a thing about tiling! He also brought his daughter to work with him for a full day. There are a number of chipped tiles and one tile with a crack running down the middle. These tiles were ruined by the tiler who clearly saw the chips when he installed them. The grout work is also done poorly, is uneven and is crumbling in parts which is indicative of uneven flooring. The worst part of the flooring was that the tiler cut ALL of my door casings and left large gaps between the casings and the floors. Jeff outright refused to fix this despite my numerous requests and claimed it was my responsibility. Upon requesting Jeff to come back and fix the other outstanding flooring issues (i.e. grout issues, chipped/cracked tiles), he agreed in principle to do so although put me off for several months. I could wait no longer and was forced to hire another contractor to complete the work, including a carpenter to repair the door casings. I felt that there was a lack of attention to detail in the final result.

I hired Jeff after being referred to him by several friends who he'd done work for. They were all thrilled, and couldn't stop praising his design skills, professionalism and attention to detail. And they were right. Jeff came in and turned my outdated bathroom into a beautiful haven. He also helped to pick the hardwood flooring that replaced all of the old carpeting and tile in my house, and then installed it as well. He was able to get us great pricing and high quality finishings. His workers were very clean and punctual. Unlike most contracters I've done business with who abscond when the work is 90% done, Jeff finished the job to the last detail. I would highly recommend Contour Construction Group.

I hired contour construction group off a recommendation from a colleague. Jeff came to our initial meeting with a ton of design ideas and effective ways for cost savings without altering the plan. He is an excellent communicator and we seemed to get a long with him well from the start. Throughout the entire process he remained completely honest with us and stuck to his budget and timing that was initially promised. The best part about Contour...he stands by his product. He gave us the most beautiful kitchen and I actually cried when I first saw it. Thanks again Jeff!

Jeff was very nice at first and quick to promise you the world. I needed a garage turned into a room. Everything he promised was not done. His designs and plans did not work and he landed by having to break through into an upstairs room and destroy another room in the house. He promised central air and then said it can't be done and put in a baseboard heater. He built cupboard the wrong size and put in tej cheapest finishes. I had to get my lawyer involved to get the job complete. Once Jeff has the contract signed he will not be around and he will change. He doesn't care about his clients or their homes. I have since spend thousands to have this room redone and fixed. DO NOT work with contour construction!!!!! Trust me. They do not deliver what they promise.
