Contractor said 2 weeks to complete project, at 3 months we kicked them out bc not only were they not showing up for work, but were using our personal materials and tools in our garage bc they didnt bring any. The stairs were never completed, counter depth fridge didn’t fit bc they ignored specs when building cabinets, scratched our floor installing oven, damaged new dishwasher to squeeze it in, no cabinet lights installed, no toe kicks installed, builder bought double door without our consent, installed damaged tiles at entrance. The list is too long, but after living w the mess for 3 months and 3 boys and waiting for them to show up, we kicked them out. Absolutely negative experience from beginning to end. Don’t ask me about the contractor’s architect friend who didn’t provide us w plans and cost us 4000$.
