This review is long overdue, as was finally getting the repair of our kitchen sink drain done. Two weeks before Christmas, we contacted A Marco Plumbing to see if they could do anything with our totally clogged kitchen sink. This sink had been like this for a long time, and despite many measures and methods to fix it, nothing worked. Two days after phoning the company, Steve (I think that was his name) arrived in the morning and after 5+ hours, our sink was working like a charm....and still is 6 mos later. With previous attempts to fix this problem (not by A Marco plumbing) the sink would clog again within several weeks.
What should have been a relatively easy fix, became an incredible challenge for this very knowledgeable (and personable) plumber. We had had the very same problem addressed years ago by another company and it was discovered they had redone the downstairs pipes incorrectly, causing grunge, sediment, sludge, etc., to build up over the years. Steve had to revamp/redo the piping, clean out all the gunk, and then refit the sink piping. To add insult to everything - this pipe-clogging junk stunk!
Unfortunately, I do not remember the cost, but do remember that for all the work, it was very reasonable - and we would have gladly paid double just to have this ongoing problem finally rectified. Definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs.
