Maple Rose Movers

Chris and Darrin are AMAAAZING movers, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I've moved myself all over the GTA in the last 7 years as a student in Toronto, and when it came time for me to move to London ON I finally decided to get movers to help, rather than "volunteer" my friends for the 5th time in almost as many years. They were efficient and careful on one of the hottest days of the year from one A/C-less building to another. The apartment they moved me into in London had a steep narrow staircase, and they handled everything with nothing but smiles. They were by far the most cost effective option for me; friends who'd moved within the city recently couldn't believe how little I was paying to move 2 hours away! Call them- you won't regret it.

I found Maple Movers from a posting on craigslist. When I first called them up I was impressed with how professional and courteous they were. I had never used a moving company before so was a little nervous. They answered my questions and eased my mind about the whole process and they gave me a good quote that was within my budget with no hidden charges or fees. The move ended up being a bigger challenge than I anticipated, yet these guys rose to the challenge. My stuff was handled with care and nothing was damaged. Chris and Darren are honest, hard working, punctual and have an great sense of humor! They will make your move a painless and fun experience and I will recommend them to anyone! Thanks again guys!  

Chris and Darin skillfully and efficiently moved the contents of our home. Their attention to detail and strong work ethic made the chore and stress of moving seem non-existent. Their sense of humour actually made our moving day fun!

I found Maple Rose through their ad on Craigslist. I was moving the contents of a one bedroom apartment within downtown Toronto, and I was comparing the cost of doing the move myself with a rented van/truck to the cost of hiring someone to do the move for me. Maple Rose was only marginally more expensive than renting a truck for the day, and they did all the heavy lifting for me...literally ;)

Chris and Darren answered all my questions on the phone, called to confirm everything the day before the move, showed up right on time, and did the job almost exactly within the amount of time they had originally quoted me on the phone. They did the job really quickly and efficiently, but somehow managed to make it seem like an enjoyable walk in the park.

I was initially hesitant to hire movers to handle everything I own. Lots of friends warned me of horror stories of moves gone wrong. Maple Rose was no horror story - I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends and I will definitely hire them the next time I am moving.

Moving two artists studios and then their living space the week after is not for the faint of heart. The amount of stuff we have is montainous; a hundred plus huge paintings, flat files, desks, metal shelving, millions of books, studio supplies, the list goes on and on. Darren, Chris and their friend Pablo were absolutely fantastic!!! They cheerfully dealt with our non-stop belongings. They were so efficient and patient and really made the entire experience comfortable. The price was reasonable for the amount of time spent and the distance covered. This was a really long day for them, from 9am to 10:30pm and an hour and a half drive back to Toronto. Moving is a high stress situation and they took the hot air right of it. My deepest thanks to them. They are really professional, sweet, focused, strong capable guys. My highest recommendations go out to Maple Rose Movers.

Darren and Chris were phenomenal!! What was initially planned as a simple move ended up being quite a bit more complicated when my old building's elevator couldn't be put on service. Despite this, both guys managed to get me moved in the same time they'd quoted over the phone. Not only that, their easy banter with each other made a usually stressful occasion a truely fun experience! Their work ethic is a rare find - they'll do whatever it takes to get the job done (in my case taking bulky items down the stairs to save time) and they'll do it with a a joke and a laugh. There were absolutely NO hidden costs and I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to make their move easier. Darren, Chris - you BOTH were true gentlemen :)

They arrive on time, ready to work with a positive attitude. We've used them 4 times in the past month. They've come on short notice, used professional moving techniques and make sure the job is finished before they leave. I'd recommend Maple Rose to anyone needing help moving.

We had been caught in a renter's scam, moved on Thursday into our home, evicted friday because we were illegally rented the apartment... Booked Friendly Giant movers by referral and on the day of the move we received no call or text or email and they did not show up after we confirmed the booking. So at 7am friday morning I made 10 calls to other movers and these guys were the only ones who picked up their phone to answer the call. It was their day off and they scheduled me for the next hour I was in disbelief! They called fifteen minutes before arrival and were exactly on time. Two men showed up and coming from myself who is a contractor with 10 yrs roofing experience behind me was not only happy these two men did the work of four men I was shocked at how efficiently one man could move what takes two men to move. Let me tell you something if I was shocked by how good this service was you will be amazed! I will never call anyone again for moving and will recommend these guys to all my customers and friends.
