Adrian is amazing. He fixed a perplexing problem with my phone jacks that no one else could fix.

For four months only one phone jack worked at one end of my condo. None of the other phone jacks worked. I had recently purchased the condo and the problem had existed since I bought the place.

No one could figure out what was causing the problem or how to fix it.

I initially used one phone company for my phone service and then switched to another phone company. I thought the second phone company would know better how to fix the issue.

The phone company sent several technicians on various occasions to my place. Unfortunately, the technicians were unable to get the phone jacks to work. They said the phone wires had probably deteriorated due to the age of the condo (the building is 40 years old) or that a wire had accidentally been cut when I had the unit renovated.

I pretty much thought the situation was hopeless. The phone company technicians recommended I just buy a portable phone and plug it into the one working phone jack to give me phone coverage in the rest of my condo.

Then, I found Adrian on HomeStars. His reviews were great so I decided to give him a try.

When I phoned Adrian, he said he would have to investigate. He stated upfront that it might be very difficult to fix the issue, or impossible, depending on the situation.

Adrian came by and took a look. After about 20 minutes, he told me he thought he could fix the issue. He gave me a very reasonable estimate of the cost.

Two hours later, Adrian had all of my phone jacks working and I had phone service in all of my rooms! He said the phone jacks hadn't worked because they weren't connected properly.

I give Adrian's service 10 out of 10 stars. He is decent, honest, straightforward and he knows his stuff. I plan to have him back at a later date to install more phone jacks, once I figure out where I want to put them.

I hired Adran on two occasions and he installed TV's in all rooms, fished high speed cable and electrical where I needed it. He comes fully equipped with cable, shelves, TV mounts etc. He was very reasonably priced, showed up when he said he would and did an amazing job. He is very meticulous about his work. I contacted Adrian after I saw his great reviews on HomeStars. He picked up his phone right away and was very good at listening to what I needed to make sure he got all the details.
He was great about coming into our office a day before our scheduled work to give us a quote on the work and he was willing to give us options as to the best solution for our needs, not just the most expensive. He was also very responsive through email.
When he came into work, he was quick and efficient and he cared about the aesthetics of the work he was doing. His work is incredibly professional and I am very happy that he was the one that I called in to do the job. His labour and materials costs were very reasonable and he actually cared about our specifics, not just what was better for him, like a lot of contractors. I chose Techsystem from positive customer responses on HomeStars and I am very happy that I did! Before Adrian arrived at my house, I prepared a detailed plan of what I needed - two CAT6 lines from the den to the bedrooms, one CAT6 line to the basement, and an access point installed on the ceiling.

When Adrian arrived, he took the time to understand my cabling needs and offered excellent alternative solutions. For example, he told me that installing an access point on a stucco ceiling won’t look very nice and could cause damage to the ceiling. Also, he asked if I have plans to stream data (e.g. Netflix) to my televisions (which I do) and he mentioned that hardwires are infinitely preferable to wireless for speed and reliability. Since my basement is in the process of being finished, he suggested hardwiring it now, before the walls go up. If I waited, it would take a lot more effort and cost to do it in the future.

When it was all said and done, Adrian installed two CAT6 lines on the second floor, two on the main floor, and three in the basement. I am now wired for the future. Also, he made seven CAT6 patch cables to connect my devices. In terms of costs, it was more than I initially planned and that was simply because I did not consider the other things Adrian suggested. I want you to know that Adrian wasn’t trying to push his services. He was genuinely concerned that I considered all my internet cabling needs and set it up once.

You know, sometimes I suffer from buyer’s remorse when I spend more money than I planned. In this case, it is exactly the opposite! After thinking about all the work Adrian did in one (long) day, I feel I received tremendous value and more importantly, I feel that I am setup for the future. Bring on this new technology! I am ready! I highly recommend Techsystem.

Adrian is a fast, efficient worker who not only delivered great results but offered suggestions that helped create better results for us. I needed 2 Cat 6 cables fished in my finished basement in short order. Adrian communicated well prior to his visit and came faster than others could. The job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated but Adrian was patient and persistent. He is clearly very experienced, had all the tools, and was very skilled. He wouldn't give up and he wouldn't cut corners. In the end he got the job done with outstanding workmanship and did not exploit or over-charge or nickel-and-dime.
