Townshend Chimney (Walter Townshend & Sons) did an absolutely amazing job recently at our home with the chimney work required and the installation of breathtakingly-beautiful gas fire logs in our 70-year-old original, traditional fireplace. From the outset, Mr. Townshend was a book of knowledge, a real professional and a true gentleman, giving us all sorts of ideas and suggestions, and always being available to take our calls and answer our questions (there were many, as this was all new territory for us)! The day of the installation, his team arrived on time, and they were friendly, professional and courteous. The end result is perfection - gas fire logs that are far more beautiful and comforting than we could ever have imagined. The job was done on time, on budget, with no mess and no fuss - but that's what happens when you hire the best; you let them take care of everything, and you relax!
