A new kitchen and bathroom were long overdue for our 50's bungalow. So when my wife and I were in need of a trustworthy, reliable and honest contractor, Macleans did not disappoint! They gave us a wonderful new space that we'll be enjoying for years to come. Macleans is thee one-stop shop with amazing contacts in each field of work (flooring, electrical, demolition). Their vast experience was evident in their work and design. Everyone who came through our house was very professional, courteous and kind. After reviewing homestars we selected 3 companies that were top rated to have them come by and provide us with quotes. After receiving the quotes and reading through all the positive reviews of MacLeans we selected them to do our Kitchen and Powder room renovation. From our initial meeting with Barb and Terry we felt very comfortable with our selection. The quote they provided was very detailed and they answered all questions we had regarding it. To begin, we went to MacLeans showroom to meet with Barb to select our finishes (cabinet design, colour, knobs, countertop, tiles) - our quote provided us with options in certain levels - if we wanted something different we were able to select it and the price would be adjusted - our quote provided us with a quartz countertop in a level 3, however we really like the look of a quartz countertop in their level 1 so we ended up saving almost $500. This was one of the first major advantages in selecting MacLeans as we did need to go anywhere to get anything else!! We had met initially in October to pick our items and told Barb that we had a child due at the end of March - Barb said they would do their best to have the construction start in early February. To her word, they began on a Friday in late January. Our job was not a large one as Terry and Barb said, just ripping out an old 12x12 kitchen, powder room and putting it all back together, however the speed at which it all took place had us in aw. This leads the next reason why this company is outstanding - they had all the contractors they work with set up and ready to go - we did not have to get different guys in to do different jobs. MacLeans had the demo guys in Friday afternoon, the flooring guys in Saturday, Monday and Tuesday morning, Terry, his brother and son arrived Tuesday afternoon to start putting the kitchen back together, the electrition arrived Tuesday afternoon to install the potlights. By Thursday Terry and his team had finished up and on Friday the countertop guys came to measure. The process for countertop took 2 weeks and then Terry and his team came back to hook up the sinks and dishwasher. Every single one of the contracts that came to our house was kind, courteous and professional. Terry, his brother and son were top notch professionals at what they did, answered any and all questions we had, as well as provided some great ideas. Barb was very easy to work with, returned all emails promptly and offered great suggestions for things we needed or didn't think of.

We have already recommended the MacLeans team to friends and family and will continue to do so and will use them again without hesitation.

From the beginning to the very last day of installation, staff at MacLeans Custom Kitchens were courteous, respectful, attentive, trustworthy, professional, pleasant and quite simple excellent to deal with. They were very helpful in the decision process and spent many hours patiently putting together a design that suited our exactly what we were looking for. Our old original kitchen was dated and was a very poor design. Terry created a new plan for us that was not only beautiful but very functional. The cabinets and drawer combinations keep everything organized and the location of appliances make working in the kitchen a pleasure. The quality of the cabinets is excellent and my husband is a little bit of a perfectionist so when he is happy with the quality....you know it's good. We did the install and MacLeans Custom Kitchens designed the kitchen and supplied the cabinets. I must say the entire project was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I love my new kitchen!!! This company is professional from start to finish.

We love our new kitchen! It took us over a year to shop around and finally decide who we would hire to complete our kitchen. In the end we chose MacLeans because the quote they provided us was everything we requested and we had a very comfortable feeling about them. We wanted a company who would provide us with a one stop shop. A company who would co-ordinate the entire job of removing walls, installing floors, installing the new cabinets and completing all of the electrical and plumbing etc. In the end everything was completed in the time frame we were quoted and we couldn't have asked for a more organized and professional company. They assisted us with colours and product selection and even provided a custom colour for our cupboards. We did a lot of research before finally selecting a company to renovate our kitchen. Let's face it - a kitchen reno is probably the most expensive project you can do it, and we had lots of questions. We found MacLean's on HomeStars and we don't regret our decision to retain them.

Barb and Co. were incredibly patient with us. We visited the store at least three times, and twice, they stayed open late for us. As many people know, that's rare these days.

The process was as painless as possible. They arrived on time, finished on time and left us with a beautiful kitchen. We still can't believe it's our kitchen and don't know how we ever lived without soft-close doors.

They knocked out the wall between our kitchen and dining room to create a larger kitchen, and did a complete kitchen Reno. They adhered to all of their timelines and were very helpful and accommodating during the whole process. They did a great job, and we are very happy with our new kitchen!

Extremely pleased with our kitchen reno. They were there when promised, were all very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were done in a few weeks as promised. We had no problem whatsoever. We also had great help in planning it all and choosing and matching flooring, backsplash etc...

This is the second time that I have had Macleans Kitchens. I was so satisfied the first time that I took the chance again. They tore down the two kitchen walls and now I have so much more room. I am thrilled with the changes they made to my condo. They were professional throughout the whole process. I believe I got good value for my money.
