My expanding family was running out of room and we needed to either move or renovate. We decided to renovate by lowering our basement and extending a crawl space under an addition done in the early 1990's by previous owners.

Tony and all his guys were extremely accommodating and polite. From the initial meeting to completion Tony was professional and honest. Braga was the most affordable quote we got but we for sure got great value for our money. He also recommended an engineer that was great to work with and made the process smooth.

They worked REALLY REALLY hard everyday and cleaned up every night before leaving. Always left the workplace tidy and ready for what was to come next.

I have already recommended Tony to my friends in real life. He can provide lots of references to his work and all of them have positives to say.

We also added additional workload on the go and we still made it on time. Even dealing with a difficult sandy soil was no problem for Tony.

I would not hesitate to work with Tony again.

Tony came recommended by my neighbour who used him for the same job the previous year. I had my basement lowered, underpinned, waterproofed, new windows and window wells, and new steel support beams for the ceiling.

Tony and his crew did an amazing job. These guys work hard! His crew is very polite - my 2 year old loved them. They are very clean and always cleaned up at the end of the day.

Tony is very helpful and gave some great advice for questions I had about the next stages of my reno.

And the best thing about Braga is they have the best rates. I had five estimates and Braga's was by far the best. But don't let that fool you. These guys do amazing work and totally deserve their high rating.

We hired Tony for the lowering and underpinning of our basement in March 2014. We were extremely happy with the finished job that Tony did and have absolutely nothing but good things to say about him. We were really impressed with the timeline that Tony had given us in comparison to other contractors, and were even more impressed when Tony finished the job ahead of schedule! Tony and his crew work extremely hard and are very diligent. They do not waste time and are always one step ahead. They were also careful around my 6 month old baby and always cleaned up before they left for the day.

Besides being a great contractor, Tony Braga is also a great guy, an honest straightforward problem solver who truly cares about his clients as well as the quality of his work. If you are lucky enough to have Tony as your contractor, you are very lucky indeed.
For example, when our corroded water pipe finally gave out (there was almost nothing left of it other than the rust) Tony promised that we would have water that night. As nightfall approached we thought it unlikely that he would be able to help us after all and then suddenly he was there on our back porch (we had no front steps at that point) with his crew and the equipment he needed to give us hot and cold running water for the night. The next day he put in a new copper water pipe and connected it to the city feed without needing to be asked, all because he felt it was the right thing to do. Great guy, great work, great experience.

We recently had the chance of hiring Tony of Braga Contracting for putting in a new elevator pit in our existing basement. Which looks perfect Tony! Also for putting in a new concrete footing and waterproofing a basement corner and installing weeping tiles around the elevator pit. It was a pleasure dealing with Tony's professionalism. He is quite a perfectionist when it comes to quality of his work and always on top of things. He wouldn't even hesitate to come by on weekends just to make sure that the project was done well within the timeframe he promised. He is so very polite and always reachable. It was really nice to see how he takes pride in his work, which is such a peace of mind from a consumer perspective. Even our structural engineer and city of Mississauga inspector were more than satisfied and happy with his work. As were the elevator installers. We would highly recommend Tony. And wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere for our future projects. Thanks Tony.

We could not be happier with Tony and his team from Braga Contracting! They did an amazing job and were a pleasure to do business with from beginning to end. Underpinning is a very big job and you do not want to fool around when it comes to your foundation! Our basement was an original 1890s cave and we now have a smooth concrete floor that is 2.5 feet lower, with all new drains and waterproofing. We had numerous hiccups throughout the job- permit delays, problems with the neighbours, difficulties with our engineer, water pipe problems, etc. Tony handled everything in stride and went above and beyond to get the job done. Braga came in lower than other quotes we got and yet they are total pros. They do not juggle multiple jobs like many other contractors and they came in right on time and on budget. We are very happy with the work and will hire Braga Contracting again for our next basement job!

Tony and his guys dug out our basement, did the underpinning, removed columns and installed our cross beam on our 1920's brick house that sits on sand and clay. Now we can tell that the house sits more solidly and the stairs don't creak anymore. The crew was professional, fast, and efficient. Tony was available for any questions and explained everything that they did. In addition, they cleaned up the worksite everyday. We were lucky to find Braga through the Reno Coach and I would use them again in a second!

Tony and his team were amazing to work with and extremely professional. Our project was to gain an extra 1.5 feet of height in our 1930's semi-detached home. And that is exactly what we got. From the moment they arrived you knew that that job was going to be done by a team of experienced contractors. All the work was the best I have seen in the concrete business. The final poured floor was as true as it could be. Tony even helped me out when a problem occurred with a shared wall with my neighbour that was not in the original quote. He could have walked away to his next job but he didn't. I would he happy to chat with anyone considering his team. Awesome job guys!

We were put in touch with Tony (Braga Contracting) by our architect and were very happy with the end result. We had our home in Toronto underpinned (approx 2+ feet down) including waterproofing, basement plumbing in addition to a new separate entrance.
