I had some personal contact with John the owner and others had recommended this company to me. The end product was very satisfactory. The service is alway quick when you call. Back when it was installed, it went well although it did take quite a bit longer than promised. Probably an additional 5-6 weeks.

Our pool reno was just the latest time we have used John and his company over the past 7 years. Each time we have been completely satisfied and we are difficult people to satisfy!!! John is knowledgeable, competent and when he says something is going to happen, it does! Our latest interaction was an algae bloom that we could not get on top of. John took over as soon as we called and the problem corrected just as he said it would. His customer service is beyond compare and I would not go anywhere else. No problem is too big or little for John and it's good to know you have a contractor that you can rely on. You don't need to look any further for your pool needs!

I grew up with a pool so naturally I wanted one for my kids. I interviewed several pool construction companies and decided to use John Houghton's company Poseidon Pools. Our installation started in the fall of 2006 in order to be functional for the following summer. My husband and I own a construction company and understand fully the process involved when taking on a large renovation task such as this. John and his team were professional, easy to reach, quick to respond and hard working. Due to my own error our pump stopped working after a year and John was more than happy to come out and replace it as quickly as possible. I am thrilled with the service we received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend John and his team to anyone looking for a quality product & installation team! I still call John once a year to start up our salt water system and service our pool to ensure proper maintenance so we can enjoy it for years to come.

John was very personable and provided a fair estimate that was on par with others. His service, knowledge and help were what sold us on this company. He has provided ongoing support which we appreciate. He answers messages promptly and I had no problems with his crew working at our home. We would definitely consider this company in the future!

The owner, John, is extremely professional, very fair and honest! He cares, wants the best for his customers. and gives the best service! Anyuone who wants a pool repairs, accessoires, renovations, , you cant get any better than this company. What I was impressed , was his extensive references, and customer satisfaction over 30 years.!

Bought a new hottub motor after 8 months seal starting leaking, had Poseidon change seal under warranty now pump is so loud and Poseidon blamed me for letting it leak and not calling right away and refuses to try and get me a new pump or try and get me warrnty work from Hayward Pumps. He said the chemicals in the hottub corroded the seal and the warranty is now voided. I paid One Thousand dollars for this new pump and it is supposed to have a one year warranty. I would not reccomend this company to anyone. I was very disappointed with his service I really thought he would of helped me out but he never even answered my e-mails. I was never properly informed of how to take care of the pump and was left no owners manual only the invoice!
