Went to open my garage door one day and it would only open one inch. I saw a sticker on the bottom of my garage door opener and saw that the Garage Door Depot had installed it as they sub contract for Sears. I also checked Home Stars and saw that the Garage Door Depot had excellent reviews.
I called them and tried to explain the problem and the lady on the phone was great with my lack of knowledge. She promised to call me back and did so within a couple of hours. She explained that the spring on the door was most likely broken; I looked and after she told me what to look for. saw that she was correct.
The appt was made for two days later and they also honored their website coupon for 10% off of parts (this saved me $25). The service guy was prompt and fixed the problem within an hour. The service guy also happened to be the one who had installed the new door opener, I had purchased in 2013.
