The Move Man

I hate moving, in part because of several bad experiences with bad movers.

I booked The Move Man at the last minute to handle a small move from my suite to another next door. The move consisted primarily of antiques and according to Ian, the heaviest sofa bed he has ever moved.

The move was held up several times due to delays in renovations to my new suite. As a result I had to repeatedly change the move date. Ian was was always patient and willing to accommodate me, calling me within minutes of my messages or sending an email after hours.

I was impressed with Ian from the moment he knocked on my door and laid out his "welcome mat". He and his assistant Luke were respectful of my family heirlooms and conscientious about not damaging walls and carpets. They were both very friendly and pleasant to deal with and I especially liked the way Ian took the time for "teaching moments" with Luke to ensure he didn't injure himself or my furniture They ended up being so fast that they helped move most of my other items within the booked time. And as I was moving to a suite with laminate floors, they even assisted with putting more than 100 felt pads on the bottom of my furniture.

Ian is a savvy business man who understands the importance of customer service. He is deserving of his top HomeStars rating. I have recommended The Move Man to several friends and while I hope I will not have to move again in the near future, I will surely hire Ian and The Move Man.

Ian and his staff arrived when scheduled and proceeded to work very quickly, not wasting time. All my furniture was moved carefully, with great care. Have already booked The Move Man for another delivery!

Ian was very pleasant to deal with over the phone. On our move day, he showed up 10 minutes early and was ready to go. They work very quickly, took off their shoes before walking through the home, and took extra care in not damaging anything inside the condo or in the common areas. We'll definitely use The Move Man again for our next move.

Ian Moore did good work. I have great regard for his skill and could tell he had done this for a while his helper was ok too. I was almost 100% satisfied. That is saying a lot because i am hard to please. Good work Ian!!!

The Move Man's services were exceptional; prompt, efficient and reasonably priced, I must say that these guys were the best moving company that I have used to date. Very customer service oriented and flexible. No problems with special requests and all staff members that I interacted with had a friendly, hard working attitude. The Move Man is the company to go to with all of your moving needs. 10/10.

Ian Moore of Move Man is a complete angel his company saved our move day. i highly highly highly reccommend them. Another company bailed out on us the day we were to move and Ian came to our rescue working until 11pm just to save our furniture.

A friend of mine had recommended Ian from The Move Man to me. He used him in past. I was complaining about all my past moving nighmares with several other moving companies. My friend assured me The Move Man was the way to go. He was right, They were like nothing I had dealt with in the past. They showed up on time, in uniform, polite, clean cut and actually seemed to enjoy their craft. Nobody likes moving except these guys. They are my movers for life.
