We hired Luc to do 3 jobs, replace upstairs carpeting, a do-over from a previous contractor on the main bathroom and the reno of the ensuite bathroom. Although the job was not done quickly, the quality of the work was excellent. Luc is a very good handyman and solutions were found for the glitches that arose. His attention to detail is very good.

This guy is a piece of work.
Took our money, never showed up, never returned calls, different story every few weeks, the rest of the time he would just ignore us

Luc Boucher took $10,000 from us and performed NO work, excuses,excuses..

In February of 2015, Luc Boucher was hired to do Hardwood floor installation in our home. In March 2015, he was paid the full amount of approximately $6000 in a cheque as payment for the purchase of the floors. The floors were due to be delivered in March (as they were ordered out of the city). However, Luc first gave excuses about the flooring being delayed from the manufacturer, etc.. Then, he kept delaying the installation date of the flooring as he said he was taking up too many projects. He mentioned being too busy doing a project for a woman who's bathroom was being renovated, and that the project had gone very wrong...and that he had to finish doing it alone as his other workers were fired. The story was changing every time. He ended up mentioning that it would be best to wait until the winter as he would be done his other projects. For months after August, he constantly delayed and delayed. We called and called multiple times a week..then multiple times a day. We left voicemail messages and text messages...no reply. DO NOT HIRE HIM! A small claims file is currently being processed against this man. He needs to be stopped!.... As it is evident we are not the first victims.

On Oct. 12th Luc was hired to do renovations on my bathroom and install hardwood flooring. Three weeks later the renovations started. He left the job without installing the vanity and sink and with a cheque for $3,376. for the purchase of flooring.
I have called daily since the 9th of Dec. but he will not return my calls. Do not hire this con artist.

Luc was hired September 9, 2015 to tile a kitchen and walk in shower. Work proceeded quickly at first then he attended sporadically, late or not at all. Took many breaks to speak with screaming wife on phone. Finally did not finish job despite being paid in full. Despite promises to return to finish and repair faulty work, has yet to show up or return calls.

Pro flooring did extensive flooring and baseboard work in my previous home (a townhouse). They removed carpet and old tile, and laid down hardwood on the main floor, upstairs landing, master bedroom and walk-in closet. They replaced carpet on the stairs with hardwood. They also removed and replaced the tile in three bathrooms. All of this work required new baseboards and "joins" between the different flooring types. It was a fairly large project.

I was very happy with the quality of the hardwood installation. However, I was not happy with how they installed the 1-inch tiles on the bathroom floor (crooked lines -- a very poor job). I was also not happy with their "finishing" work on the baseboards and quarter-rounds (very rough cuts -- should have spent an extra few minutes to get it right).

So good and bad. Nice wood, (including the stairs), but bad for the more difficult tiling job and not good on the baseboards and trim.
