A Budget Construction and Nitin and his team did a wonderful job on our third floor bathroom renovation. I connected with Nitin through friends who had two kitchens done and loved his work. He was clear and concise about the timeline, budget and what was required for materials. He also provided some useful design suggestions that we incorporated. The team arrived every day at the same time and put in a solid day's work; were always clear with all communications; how the work was proceeding; and what would be upcoming the next day. They were a pleasure to have in the house. The project came in on time and on budget. I could not have asked for more. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly.

My wife and I are thrilled with our basement renovation. When we moved into our house we knew it was a project we wanted done but weren't sure how as several drains ran into the centre of the basement. Nitin and his crew expertly reimagined the space and gave us room we never thought was possible. We now have a laundry room, a gorgeous bathroom (more like a spa), an office and a huge living space complete with a gas fireplace. It's more than we ever expected! We were so happy with A Budget Construction that we have now asked them to complete our upstairs bathroom renovation as well.

He then provided us with multiple detailed plans and drawings that gave us the sense that he saw and understood our vision. The work itself was executed beautifully and completely on time (actually a few days shorter than we had expected!). We were in contact with Nitin, daily. A Budget Construction Ltd. and in particular, Nitin, the principal did an outstanding job of renovations I recently had done in my condo. Upon meeting Nitin what I liked about him from the start was the kind of questions he asked. He clearly had knowledge and understanding of what was involved in the work I was considering. He offered suggestions of what I might consider doing while at the same time being very respectful of what I had in mind. I met with him a number of times at my home and at his show room going over the various options until I was satisfied with the end plan. He was very patient and helpful during the planning process.
My entire kitchen was gutted, a wall torn down, flooring repaired, popcorn ceiling removed in kitchen/dining room. The entire main floor was repainted and a bathroom partially renovated.
Nitin is a very hands-on contractor. He has been working with his trades for a long time and knows them well. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The painting was done meticulously. The kitchen installation went seamlessly. Nitin kept me informed of each step. He sent me photos of the work in progress. He always obtained confirmation from me if there was any change or question as to how to proceed. Upon completion my home was left so clean almost like no renovation had taken place.
I love my new kitchen! Nitin had told me to expect approximately one month for the work to be completed. However, everything was done in 13 days!

I was fortunate enough to find Nitin while doing some online research. He responded promptly to my request for an estimate for my bathroom renovation. He came to my home and spent a lot of time discussing ideas for the space. I had a very specific vision for the space and Nitin worked with me to make that vision a reality. He provided excellent guidance and shared resources for materials. I was unable to find the vanity that I wanted so Nitin custom made it to my specifications. It turned out amazing. Exactly what I had envisioned. During the process Nitin was always accessible and responded to questions promptly, which really helped to keep my stress levels to a minimum. He made many trips to my home during the renovation and addressed any issues I had promptly and to my complete satisfaction. His crew was very professional , on time and very accommodating. He stands behind his product as well – there have been a couple of smaller items that we only realized after we moved in and Nitin’s post delivery service is just as reliable. Post sale service is horrible!!! The piece on top of the refrigerator did not fit even though the actual measurement for the refrigerator was provided earlier. When we received the appliance we noticed it did not fit in the area. Mr. Nitin did not pick up phones or not replying to text. Tried several times to reach him, Mr. Nitin just ignored all the calls from us and mostly placed us in call block list. The piece is required to cut and re-paint before re-install it. Also one of Cabinet Drawer makes noise due to contacting with counter top. My kitchen looks cheap now even though I spend premium price. I might complain consumer board.

Regarding Kitchen Island: I never noticed a kitchen island without a back panel. If back panel was not considered in price this should be treated as a design error and should not be charged extra to the customer later. Kitchen Island is not just a cabinet design; there must be a back panel. Later we were requested to build a drywall behind the kitchen island and we did not agree for the wall since there won’t be much difference between the Kitchen Island and cabinets if we build the drywall.
Sorry to say that I am not new in Canada and this is my second house renovation work and I am fully aware of Canadian culture, I know how we value our consumers.
The company met delivery and installation timeline. Responses before sale were good.
If you are not worried about post sale service, this can be a good choice.

We found Nitin by reading reviews on web sites like this one. From the outset, he demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness to our requests. He established the scope of the project, confirmed our budget constraints and quality expectations before presenting us with a detailed proposal, and a very reasonable cost estimate. All of this was supported with computer drawings and precise on-site measurements. He led us through the project schedule and recommended suppliers and materials. He did his very best to adhere to that schedule, despite some unforeseen issues with external suppliers. For our project, Nitin's response truly went beyond the call. His trades people were all top notch, and all acted very professionally. Nitin provided daily updates and frequent on site visits to review both project quality and progress. I just bought and moved into a condo after having lived in the same house for 46 years. I liked the layout of the condo but did not like the kitchen. The cupboards where white and dull, the floor was black, it had California lighting and the end wall where the washer/dryer and the pantry were located comprised of three sliding doors that wobbled on there tracks. I went online to try and find a contractor who had done renovations in Pickering and had good reviews.

The first name that popped out from this search was A Budget Construction Ltd a Division of Kitchen Cabinet Source Inc. that every customer who had hired them gave the company a top rating. I contacted the company and set up an appointment with the owner Nitin. He came out to my new condo and I told him what I didn’t like and what I wanted. Within a few days he came up with a design exactly as I wanted and a price that I thought was reasonable and well within my budget.

I still had about 5 weeks before I was moving in so Nitin and his crew went to work. He gutted the existing kitchen, removed the old flooring, all the lighting and the sliding wall panels. The new floor was laid, the wall was built, new lighting was wired in and the new cupboards exactly as I wanted, were all installed before I moved in. There were still some items to be completed but I was able to function satisfactorily while the balance of the work was completed. When I had a problem with anything, Nitin addressed the problem and made changes to my complete satisfaction. I also hired Nitin to perform some of the renovations I was making in both bathrooms and these were also completed to my satisfaction.

Now the condo does not look like the tired one I bought but it is bright, cheery and everything looks and is perfect in every way, exactly as I had desired. I would recommend Nitin and his companies to anyone that wants to do any renovations and wants these renovations to be done right and to look professional when completed.
