Bedwell Van Lines

They double billed me for a 7 hour move Woodbridge/Newmarket on my credit card. They refused to credit me back telling me continuously that they would resolve the matter and it was an error. You can call them repeatedly… they will not resolve damaged furniture, damaged floors or money disputes. Do not give them your credit card information. Do not trust them.

We just completed two moves with Bedwell

First off, the crews doing the work were perfectly fine. Our troubles arose when we had to deal with the office person. There may of course be reasonable explanations but no-one from the office would actually talk to us. We've been left with the strong sense it may be office standard operating procedure to stall so that customers will just give up. I’d recommend staying clear of this outfit.

We used Bedwell Van Lines to move from our home in Vaughan to our new home, which is also in Vaughan. The crew and staff were wonderful to deal with and the move proceeded without any problems or issues. The movers padded and wrapped everything to protect the furniture and made the moving a painless experience. Dealing with Linda was a pleasure and a delight, she has a friendly personality and provided hourly estimates, which were very accurate. She was very assuring and made the moving process enjoyable. We would defiantly recommend Bedwell to friends and family.

I required a mover on short notice and a friend recommended Bedwell. I was very satisfied with the service, the quote was fair and their were no hidden fees. The movers arrived on time and finished the job in the quoted amount of time. I would recommend this company for home moving, they are very helpful even with just a moments notice.

Last month I moved to my new condo, which was stressful because of having to book the elevator with property management and only being able to have it for 2 hours. I called Bedwell and told them I have a strict deadline, which they fully guaranteed they would be able to meet.
The morning of the move, 3 movers showed up and promptly got the van loaded up and moved to the new location. The unloading was very quick, and was actually finished in just an hour and a half. I'm thankful that Bedwell was efficient, careful with my things, and finished before expected. I recommend them for anyone that requires moving to a condo or home.

We hired Bedwell to move our household belongings from Aurora to North York. We were given a guarantee from Bedwell to provide us with a truck and 3 qualified movers. They provided 3 men for the move out and did a good job in good time. At the end of the move out, another Bedwell truck arrived and took one of the best men and dropped off a very inexperienced person as his replacement. The movers went for lunch on the way to our move-in location. The inexperienced person did not return to the job after lunch. We were left with only 2 movers to complete the move in process. We were on a deadline for the elevator reservation so the move required 3 experienced movers to complete the job by 4:45pm. The elevator would not be available after 4:45pm as per the condo management rules. Bedwell and the movers were well aware of this timeline before they agreed to do the job. They assured us they could complete the job in good time. The driver Mark called his office to report that they were down 1 person and required another person immediately. This was 2:00pm. Bedwell told Mark that they did not have anyone to replace the missing person. My wife and I had to pitch in and help move the items in order to finish in our alloted timelines. The 2 movers agreed and reiterated that they could not have finished the job without our help.
We complained to Bedwell, the manager and the sales rep, and asked for compensation for our efforts. Bedwell assessed our situation and reported that they did not ask us to help and that the job would have been completed with the 2 movers. This would never have happened. We went over our timelines with the elevator by 1/2 hr and the condo management allowed us the extra time because they saw how hard everyone was working to get it completed. Bedwell offered us a $50.00 credit for our disatisfaction. This compensation is an insult and a joke. Bedwell does not care about satisfying there customers and took no responsibility for their actions.
I would not recommend using Bedwell to anyone. If you run in to any problems they will not give you the time of day to resolve the problems fairly. There are other moving companies out there that will treat there customers fairly if they do not meet your satisfaction.

We used Bedwell twice so far and we will use them again. Both our movers went very well, everything they promised ie/ wardrobes boxes, mirror cartons, plastic wrapping and padding of all our furniture they delivered, the men were very courteous and knowledgeable and the sales staff's estimate was bang on, the first time they came to our home and gave a written guaranteed quote the second time I didn't feel that was necessary so we just had them estimate over the phone. I have recommended them to one of my friends and 2 of my collegues and they were all very happy as well.
I would highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation!!

They are great at first when you call them. Every is easy and reasonable.
Run away and use honest movers. DO NOT use them for storage or moving, they ask little at first and when you want your stuff they ask you over double and you have no choice.
If you have any damage they will not return your call.
The drivers are ok, this is the only reason why i gave one in my satisfaction rate.
Very expensive (at last).
