Catalina and her team did an excellent job painting the exterior and interior of our house. Everything went exactly according to plan and they went out of their way to provide a very high quality service from initial quotes, prompt scheduling, preparation and cleanup and last but not least a really great paint job.

We required an office to be painted and called Dylon Gascoigne who responded quickly and provided an estimate for the work to be completed. I must say, Dylon was very professional. We were so impressed with him that we hired him to do the job. The job was done professionally and in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend Dylon Gascoigne and Scholars to clients, friends and family!

I live in Ottawa in a 1960s bungalow in a sought out neighbourhood. I had Scholars at your Service paint my tricky basement staircase. It was the original oil paint from the 1960s.

The painter Nikola Vulin was great, very professional, polite and punctual. Kept communication , Cleaned up after the job too. The staircase looks great now.

Many years ago we had installed stucco panels under the exterior windows of our home to conceal wood trim that was rotting. Two of these stucco panels had started to rot and needed to be replaced. Luckily we had enough stucco board to replace the two panels. The workers removed the rotten panels, cut replacements and installed them, as well as painting them and all of the other panels that were still in good condition, they also painted a badly peeling steel door, a small area of galvanized flashing and a couple of basement window frames. We were very pleased with the work done and would not hesitate to recommend them. They showed up on time, completed the job and cleaned up nicely. Price was reasonable.

I met Thea when she came to the door in late winter. I don't usually take any door to door solicitations, but she was so pleasant and convincing and I was planning on having the exterior of the house painted in the spring, that I interviewed her and asked for a quote.
After getting more quotes I decided to go with Scholars Choice and I have been very pleased. The crew were on time and very professional. The work was excellent and Thea was very patient while we tried different shades of paint for the stucco to be sure that we matched our neighbours on the other side of the semi.

Scholars did a great job. They sanded, primed and prepped well, and painted carefully and neatly. Team leader Bryan also went the extra mile and filled in cracks in the wood and other gaps. The finished product is really nice. I would definitely recommend them and am thinking of using this team for additional work inside my home.

John Franco (Giovanni) and his team did an excellent job for us here in Toronto. They were punctual, came well equipped, and cleaned up beautifully each day. I had hired them to stain the fence and , pleased with that result, I then hired them to restain a porch and skirting.
They were respectful of adjacent surfaces and plantings, diligent, addressed minor issues as they arose to our satisfaction; a very conscientious crew. I have recommended them to other family members who may be considering hiring painters this season.

3 students painted our vestibules, and they did a beautiful job! One of them doubled as a smoking room for four years, so it required a 3 coats. They also did a thorough job of cleaning the switches and a light cover. They were punctual, friendly, and responsible.
