Viktoria Professional Movers

After 20 years we chose to downsize. We got Viktoria's name from a neighbour who had just moved in and gave a very high review to the team involved. Our move was done over two days as there were different destinations involved and we wanted to keep the stress to a minimum. Our daughter had some of her stuff put in Viktoria's storage facilities. Overall it was an excellent experience, the team were efficient, hard working and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. We would recommend the company without reservation.

While I was researching various moving companies, Cormac from Viktoria movers was the only company who visited my apartment to provide me a quote based on what furniture I had. Other moving companies asked me to provide a detailed breakdown and declined an in home visit.

Cormac advised us to disassemble a IKEA PAX wardrobe as that would take his guys couple of hours to take it apart, and if I did that on my own, I would end up saving some money. On the day of the move, Paul and his crew arrived half an hour late, but Gardiner Expressway had a traffic jam. Once they arrived, they most quickly and the load was done in less than 2 hours. I was originally quoted a total time of 9 hours, but the entire move was completed in a little over 6 hours.

Would recommend this company for your moving needs and get Cormac if he is available.

We recently retained Viktoria Professional Movers (Calgary) to move us from our 3000 sq. ft. house into our retirement villa. In a word, their professionalism and overall attention to our needs was exceptional. Here is a list of pros and cons:

• they came to our house in order to examine the items that were to be moved, provided us with a quote and kept completely within that quote.
• Andrey stayed in constant communication with us and was always there to answer any questions we had.
• there was no damage to any of our furniture, paintings, or antiques. And there were no scratches on any of our walls.
• they carefully laid down runners to protect our floors at both locations.
• All of the men who came to carry out the move were very personable and very skilled at what they were doing.

I was assigned Viktoria Professional Movers for a work relocation and I could not be more impressed. These guys are truly excellent. I was moving from Vancouver to Victoria on short notice. The Viktoria crew did a super job of packing, loading and delivering on the other end. They are prompt, professional, hardworking, considerate and leave everything clean and nice.

The crew went above and beyond for me, taking extreme care of my belongings. I am really delighted.

This was my first experience using a moving company and after hearing nightmares from friends using other services within Calgary, I was on the sceptical side of things.

Viktoria Professional Movers blew these expectations out of the water. Andrey, my point of contact at the office, was very timely in his responses regarding quotes and additional questions. My movers Tristan and Ryan were very kind, polite, and efficient and took the stress out of the entire situation and wasted no time moving everything. Nothing was damaged and I appreciated the movers were able to have fun themselves while doing a tough job over a long day. Will definitely recommend to others.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Morgan and his team for our major move from North Vancouver to Kelowna this summer. First of all, our move was complex as we needed them to store our stuff for 5 weeks while we were in between homes. Our existing home has major access issues so they coordinated moving in multiple smaller trucks to be able to get into the narrow busy streets of Deep Cove. Our new home also had very difficult access so they delivered using multiple trucks again! And in the midst of all of this we realized that our son's orthodontic retainer had accidentally been packed into one of the boxes so they even managed to find that and get it up to us in Kelowna so that we didn't have to replace it. Highly recommend these guys - professional movers that know what they are doing to pack, coordinate and deliver, the pricing was reasonable and fair, and we enjoyed the team -- fabulous and super nice people. We plan to use them again when its time to move my Mom out to Kelowna.

Viktoria Professional Movers stands for two things. (Professional staff and professionals at their trade) From start to finish Cormac, the installers, and movers have been courteous, helpful, respectful and flexible.

Cormac has been flexible with changing move dates and unforeseen storage while my house renovation was completed.

I will refer friends and family to use this company and I will certainly procure this company the next time I require moving and storage services.

It's not often you hear people rave about their movers, but I have to say the folks at Viktoria were beyond amazing and made what is otherwise a stressful day seamless.

The company's owner Cormac is one of the most sincere people we have met and even though our movers were running late, he kept us completely informed and even went out of his way to personally help in order to speed things up. At one point the movers dropped a couple of boxes and broke some glasses for which they felt horrible, but we were so appreciative of their hard work that it didn't matter.

At the end of a long day we invited our movers to join us for dinner (that's how lovely they were)!
