I paid a Booking deposit and they cancelled 6 times and haven't refunded me in over a month!

WARNING: Read this before sending any deposits to this company! I used them for a clean once. When I booked a subsequent clean, I was advised that they now need full payment up front to book an appointment because too many people cancel on short notice or don't pay in time (none of which I did!) and that the "few ruined it for the many." I wasn't comfortable in paying in full for a service before receiving it, nor do I think this is even legal. I suggested a deposit to book rather than the full payment like they wanted, which I sent $75 to Sara at Immaculate Impressions to book my appointment for May 17. On the late evening of May 16, she texted me to change my appointment to May 18. On May 17, she texted me to change my appointment to May 19. On May 19 after my appointment was supposed to have already started, she texted me to advise me she couldn't make it. I requested her send me back my deposit, which I never received. Then on May 26, she messaged me saying she has another cleaning in my area and advised me she could come clean my house on that same day which was June 8. I reminded her of my deposit that she still had not returned, and she said she could apply towards a clean if I wished to book on June 8 when it was convenient for her. So I booked it. Then on June 7 in the evening, she texted me stating she has strep throat but feels ok and she just wanted to let me know in case I was worried about it. I said I wasn't worried and to still come for the cleaning on June 8. Then June 8 in the morning she messaged me again to cancel. I asked her to send me my deposit back and she said she can't because she has financial difficulties and can't afford it. Then she rescheduled me to June 13. Then on June 12 at 9PM she messaged me and cancelled again. She said she can't come to my house because the cost of gas is too much, and that she can't return me back my deposit from over a month ago. I paid a deposit to secure an appointment with this company at their request because they said too many people cancel last minute and it messed up their scheduling, then they take my deposit and cancel on me SIX TIMES and refuse to send me my money back! I have screenshots of the entire conversation as proof. I do not recommend at all. This is embarrassing and shameful for them. Will update my review when I get my deposit back from Sara.
