Straight Up Masonry

We contracted Straight Up Masonry to rebuild a tilting brick pillar on our 1920's circa semi-detached home. Straight Up removed the original pillar and found that that the footing had not been built properly- was only a foot deep and resting on boulders. They removed the boulders, dug down a good 4 feet and rebuilt the footing and pillar over 3 consecutive days. The attention to detail in the rebuild is excellent! Since the pillar was at the front of the house, we were concerned about matching the original brick. Tony spent time trying to find the best match for us and it looks great! The on-site team was neat and tidy, polite, and respected our property. You can tell from the workmanship and attention to detail that the team is very skilled and takes pride in their work.
