Sms Movers No Longer In Business

I hire them 1 month prior to move. he send me an email confirmation, I even called him a day before move and re-confirm everything with him again….they were supposed to be here at 9:00 am , called him at 10 and he said he had no idea who I was??!?!?! after confronting him with his own email, he yelled at me and said do not waste my time!!! called me back in 5 minutes and said he will send a truck if there is any available. a truck showed up 2 hours later … he send a small truck ( suitable for a flat studio) for our 3 bedroom house. he said they will go back and forth 2-3 times!!!!!!!!! bottom line is they are the worst it can get.. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM…. I called another mover and they will be here shortly.. once the move is done I will take them to the court! FOR SURE!

These guys are theives . Quoted 180 for 1 hour (approx) ; demanded 500; I called the police and they ran like the SCUM that they are.. they have not heard the last from me!

THEY ASKED ME FOR A DEPOSIT BEFORE THEY STARTED THEN THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND LEFT WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING. I KEPT CALLING THE NUMBER AND THE GUY THAT ANSWERED KEPT HANGING UP.

PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE DO NOT LET THESE THIEVES RIP YOU OFF LIKE THEY DID TO ME

I hired them was provided with extremely friendly service before the move. Great rate - promised wardrobe boxes and blankets.

They arrived 5 hours late without wardrobe boxes. I almost lost my elevator booking to move out. They tried to extort money upfront $250 and then again at the end now $410!

They left my things on the first floor refused to move stuff to the proper places - my boyfriend asked them to move 2 things upstairs whic h they did. Things were broken and it was rude and threatening service.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! Find another service to help you!

I called them 3 times to confirm the rates, apparently they only give you half the rates expected. They stated it was "120/hr for the first 2 hrs then 40/hr" after that. Instead, after everything was loaded, they stated that this was for each site (loading and drop off) so it was actually $240 minimum. When I called the manager to clarify, he was very rude and essentially told me "tough luck" and they wouldn't offload until paid in full. Very unhappy with this service.

i also used these guys. I have never used movers before so didn't look into it, my fault there. To make a long story short they broke 80% of my stuff and took stuff as well. I have called the police and I am taking them to small claims court. I suggest everyone else do the same. Let's get rid of these guys. Everything everyone else has stated on here that they have done is 110% correct and did to me. I won't let this go

SMS movers will scam you, and rip you off. At the end they will threaten you. They told us that they charge per half hour and at the end of the move they said they only charge per hour. When i tried to talk to mark, he threatened me and had a big fit.
Do not use them for movers, they may seem friendly and cheap, but in the end they will rip you off.
