Dany and his team transformed our asphalt parking pad into a beautiful entertaining space that we are very happy with. There were a few issues during construction that Dany handled extremely well and resolved leaving us happy and with the end product that was promised.

Beyond thrilled! We contacted Dany in the middle of prime decking season and he fit us in to his busy schedule. He took the time to sit with us and consider different options to maximize the deck space in our small yard in a style that would create a streamlined extension of the house. We decided to go with ipe wood. On his own, Dany sourced extremely long and top quality pieces so that our deck had a continuous look. Mid way through the build I wanted to make some changes to the design. Dany didn't even miss a beat, his response to the crew was "make it happen, whatever she wants". Everyone brainstormed together to make the necessary tweaks and the results are perfection! We are in love with our new living space. When the project was finished, our neighbors told us they missed the crew because they were so nice to have around. We could not recommend this company enough, you will not be disappointed. Oh, and did I mention that they are reasonable as well?

We had a very small deck and wanted to expand it to a two level deck. When I called Dany, he showed up on time and we discussed the design and the cost. He even suggested to remove the existing deck and the privacy fence and replace it with a new one to get the best look for our backyard (he did this at a very low cost, thank you again!)He even sketched the initial design at that time. He sent us a detailed sketch of the deck later, which had all the measurements. They started the job 1 week earlier than we expected (which is rare in the summer) and everything was done as they promised. We are super happy with the final result!

Peter and the other guy (sorry I can’t recall his name), who built our deck, were so nice and friendly. Their attention to details, following the initial design, being on time, keeping our place clean, good price for this quality of job, all in all are the reasons we will recommend CustomDeckCompany to anyone who wants to turn an ugly back yard to a beautiful place for their family.

If you are looking for a custom built deck, look no further. Dany and his team (Matt was A++) went above and beyond to ensure our dream deck became a reality - and did so within the quote provided. We in fact had hired another deck contractor for the project, but fortunately realized before it was too late that company wanted to build the deck their way and on their terms (ya, no thanks). When we switched to Dany and the Custom Deck crew, they listened to what we wanted and made it happen. They also recommended (and built for no additional charge) extra features that would maximize our use and enjoyment. For example, they installed a gate to cover the pool equipment at no extra cost and also built a special panel for the deck skirting that allowed our ductless air conditioner to "breathe". Dany has PRIDE in his work. And I have PRIDE in property ownership. If you do too, then you want a guy like Dany building your deck.

Danny from The Custom Deck company provided a competitive quote and was available to start the project within a week. His team removed the old deck, dug the post holes, installed footings and the substructure and the cedar decking. We added the pergola to the work midway. The team worked 6 days a week and were diligent and professional. They even helped add the lights. We are very satisfied with the quality of work and attention to detail.

Danny Benishai with two of his outstanding crew members Matt and Arian - Professional, punctual, reliable, amazing work, amazing people, reasonable prices. These people love what they do and it is shown!!!! Matt and Arian built our backyard fence and Deck with bottom railing made of glass and did an outstanding job, we enjoyed working with them and cannot thank them enough. From all the contractors we worked with on our house - they are at the top best. We highly recommend.

The Custom Deck Company recently installed a deck and privacy lattice in our backyard and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Dany and his team’s expertise were evident through the design, build and execution of the project. Dino is a true craftsman, Tom a hard working protégé, who together created our backyard oasis. The process from start to finish was a pleasure. I highly recommend The Custom Deck Company and wouldn’t hesitate to call them for future work.

I hired Dany to take down an old deck and to replace it with a new one. I paid extra for him to provide a bin to take away the garbage. Instead, he took it away in his truck but still charged me for the bin. Most frustrating is that he attempted to install defective and rotted wood for the deck. Most of his boards had severe cracking, holes, and were clearly rotten. Although after complaining to Dany he changed many boards, there are several remaining that look terrible. One post he installed is cracked from bottom to top. Dany advised that splitting is normal. But this post was cracked and in bad condition before installation. He must be buying premium wood that is defective for a heavy discount. Dany's contractor did the job, NOT Dany. His contractor was lazy, didn't stand behind his work, and I was forced to micro manage him because he was taking shortcuts and otherwise the deck would have had major problems. His contractor went into my garage without permission and used my tools as well. I am forced to hire another contractor to fix Dany's work. Because I held back some money due to Dany's incompetence and that I have to hire another company, he started threatening me. I had nothing but aggravation from using this company. Dany provides a competitive price, but you get what you pay for!!!
