Ashley Furniture -

My family bought a dining table and other pieces of furniture from Ashley Furniture. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite up to the standards that we expected. Our dining table was wooden and the finish started to peel already. We tried everything but it came down to the fact that the product just wasn't the best that they claimed it to be. However, our other furniture from the store was alright.

We recently refurnished almost our entire home. We went to several furniture stores but the selection and quality @ Ashley Furniture was exceptional. We dealt with one particular salesman through all our purchases, who was great by the way, the only thing is that you have to wait 28 days for all items, but it was worth the wait. The quality is there and we always end up going back for our next piece!

The furniture selection at this store was okay. I liked a few things, but nothing really stood out enough for me to buy it. There is a wait time for all the furniture since they have to make the product and ship it in, but that didn't bother me so much. What bothered me was that we were being stalked the whole time. The person that greets you at the door will be sneaking around behind you at all times. It made me very uncomfortable and that is the reason I would never shop at this store again.

The sale people at Ashley Furniture are very knowledgeable and friendly. They don't "pounce" on you as soon as you enter the door:)
Their prices were very competitive and combined with an in-store promotion we received a great deal.

We purchased a number of pieces of furniture from leather sofa and chair, kitchen suite, rug,etc. We had to wait a long time for items to arrive. They are only begun manufacturing after to buy them. In China.... I think on Friday afternoon too. We received a sofa recliner that was 3 separate pieces together that didn't even match. All items we ordered were poor quality and workmanship when received. Big chunk out of kitchen table corner. Get the picture? Chair coming apart. We tried to cancel our order due to poor quality and were told. NOT THEIR POLICY. only repair. One repair person told me their furniture was only built to last 5 years. Nice to know but certainly true. With many complaints and a few fights we returned all items, for poor workmanship and defects. Customer service from Winnipeg was terrible. When they finally brought our kitchen suite they left it unassembled upside down on our kitchen floor and left because they did not have bolts to assemble it. When I spoke to Winnipeg customer service as to when they would get us bolts. they said 6 weeks. You got to be kidding!!! We had already waited about 2 months for our items to be sent back and re-delivered. My husband went to the hardware store and got the bolts himself. UNREAL customer service. We never heard from Ashley again... I tell everyone to be ware of Ashley Furniture. What you see in the show room is not the quality that arrives at your house. Their no return policy (we didn't know about at purchase time) tells me they know they sell garbage . So steer clear. Lots of other good quality and far more ethical companies out there. Buyer be very ware of this company !!!!

the customer service was excellent, they delivered the furniture on time and set it up exactly where i wanted it placed. The sales person was very informative and friendly, he remembered us every time we returned, very personable!
