Ashley Furniture -

Don't buy from here. I have had all my products for 14 months, the reclining sofa is now being repaired for the 3rd time. Each repair takes 8 weeks even though my sofa is completely broken and it is not cost effective to replace. They do not care that they have an irate customer and have done nothing to satisfy any concerns. I decided not to make claims on my dryer or other sofa as I do not have the energy to deal with a company that does not stand behind their products. Run far away from Ashleys FINE Furniture.

My experience with Ashley furniture is somewhat bitter sweet. Walking around the showroom and dealing with the salesperson was a very pleasant, if not enjoyable experience, however, my follow up experiences (yes! very much plural) with Customer Service has been deplorable, to say the least. I had purchased an entire bedroom suite. My headboard and dresser mirror were damaged upon delivery (which to my thinking, should be replaced. Period.) There should be no question to the extent of damage, product that I had purchased, new, should be delivered in good condition. I had purchased my suite from Ashley Furniture because they have a certain reputation for quality product. I had purchased this good quality furniture with the expectation that this would be what I would receive. To have anything less is unacceptable and should be this company's mantra. I very much love what I purchased, however, because of the very poor Customer Service (does this even exist at this company), I will never again purchase anything from Ashley Furniture.

I've purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley Furniture within the last 3 months and I have to say, I will never purchase anything from you again. At this point, you couldn't pay me enough to shop at your stores. The coffee table that I waited 4 weeks for finally showed up, and is damaged. After calling your customer service reps (who by the way only seem to be good at making issues worse rather than resolving them), I was told it would be another 4-6 weeks for me to get a replacement. So, according to some basic math skills, I'm waiting 8-10 weeks for a coffee table that's usable. When I indicated that I wanted to cancel the whole order, I was told that there would be a re-stocking fee. Let's just do a quick recap here - you guys make customers wait 4 weeks for damaged furniture, another 4 weeks for replacement furniture, and then have the audacity to tell me that I'm paying a re-stocking fee. I wish you all the best in getting that re-stocking fee from me.
Needless to say, the furniture is being returned and I'll be sure to make my highly unpleasant experience with your company very well known (the internet is a very powerful tool).

We bought a sofa , love seat, accent chair , SHWD ACCT CHR ,and a lift top cocktail table set from Ashley furniture Home store located in in 88 Heritage Gate,Calgary , in 08/09/2013 with expected delivery date of 08/30/2013 .
We received our purchased stuff in two parts , with a considerable delay .
The surface of table was scratched ,so we informed post sale service and also sale consultant of store .
Finally ,we convinced the manager that we do not want a fixed table , and he promised us that they will deliver a new table .But, as the expected date of delivery passed ,we went to the store and asked him about the table ,and he told us we will deliver it in two weeks. And we are waiting for that day (today is 10/29/2013) .
I will never buy anything from Ashley not only because I received my stuffs with marked delay and scratched , but also I don’t have enough free time to spend with customer service ,sale consultant , and manager of Ashley Home Store for a simple purchase.

Do not buy from this company. The furniture looks beautiful in the showroom (and I'm pretty happy with mine, minus the lower-than-expected quality), however the salespeople are dishonest and rude. The salesman on the floor told us we could buy the table, two bench chairs, and two regular chairs for a "deal" of $1100 (I believe it was listed at $1500). So we accept and go to the back for payment (you pay through a different person). Suddenly she was charging us $1500 - we told her what the original salesman said and she denied it. She was extremely rude and tried to tell us we were making the price up. I wish I would have stopped the entire deal right there. The original salesman went and hid the entire time we were there. We argued with this woman forever and the whole process took over an hour (ridiculous). Finally we agreed upon the original price (after she made many phone calls and made us stand around). Now, the original salesman had told us everything was in stock. This lady informed nothing was and it would have to be delivered. It took two months to get everything. We actually had to drive and pick up the chairs (at separate times) because they couldn't get organized enough to deliver. The men that delivered the table were great, however. Very helpful and pleasant.
I think the quality is a bit lower than I expected. The table is nice but the chairs are "cheap".
I DEFINITELY will never shop here again.

This is the worst company I have ever seen. We ordered living room and bedroom furniture 4 months ago, they were to deliver after a month as the items I ordered were not in stock. They delivered after 2 months with missing footboard and damaged rest of furniture, and still I am waiting to get those damaged items replaced. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. If you want peace of mind, don't go with Ashley.

I purchases furniture from Ashley Winnipeg. I gave them 4 weeks to deliver and still could not do it on time. Came 1 day late - and that day supposed to deliver between 5 - 8 pm. Came at 9:38 pm. Ridiculous. BEWARE. Furniture made in USA and shipped into Canada

We bought one of the newest, expensive dinning and living room sets in July 5, 2013. The customer representative told us the sets would be delivered to us in 2 weeks. In the paper, it's said August 15th. I talked to the customer service and she said the latest would be August 15th. End of July, we added 2 chairs to our dinning room set and at that time, they checked their system and told us everything is on schedule and our stuff has been loaded into the truck, on its way to Canada. August 14th, I called customer service and she said there is a delay and by 20th, it will be here. August 19th, I called again and surprisingly, they told us there is a delay and our stuff just loaded on the truck. At the end, she told me call her on August 26th to let me know where the truck is!!!!! I really do not care about the truck, It's my purchased furniture which have to be here by now! She kept saying that we are not "the Brick" which has lots of inventories in their warehouse. I just want to know if you are claiming that you are one of the high end furniture store, you must act and treat your customer like a high end personnel, with prestige because I expect your store to be more organized, on-time and trustworthy and lot more honest and transparent! When you make a promise to your customer, you have to keep your promises, not just at the time of purchase! I am very upset with the customer service, delivery time, the wrong information and the delay which every time will be added on. This is not a high end store would treat their loyal customers! I have spent a lot of money in your store and I expect good timing, and transparent relationship. I am so disappointed at your delivery time. It is coming from USA not over the seas!!!!!
Honestly, there is no logical and convincing reason behind this delay except for lack of customer service and not putting customer's need in priority!

I bought my bedroom set and living room set from Ashley on Boxing Day. My parents have bought all their furniture from here too. Amazing quality for the price. The wait time for replacement parts is a little long but other than that great service. Will go back again.

TERRIBLE!
We were assured many times while purchasing that unlike their competitors Ashley Furniture could deliver your furniture in 21 days. We were looking for a mid priced couch, nothing too fancy as this was for our TV room. We found a decent priced sectional there and were able to haggle down the price. I paid in full and items were to be delivered 3 weeks later.
close to the delivery date I contacted them and was told everything was good to go. not even 24 hour prior to our furniture being delivered they advised that items were out of stock. They could not provide us with a actual delivery date, so we decided to cancel and get a refund. They said if we did that we would have to pay a 25% restocking fee! REALLY?? on items that are not in stock? made absolutely no sense but whatever we decided to just wait for delivery.
We contacted them over 15 times to try and find out when items would be delivered. MOST reps we talked to have been rude, aloof, ignorant and make it very clear they do not give a crap about your order.
FINALLY the delivery happens, I was home that day with my brother in law. I get a call from Ashley Customer service advising that the delivery staff is outside. So I go to my door greet the guy and all of a sudden he starts screaming at me. No exaggeration, he was literally yelling at me. He claimed he had been waiting 15 minutes and how I was wasting his time and so on. Unbelievable! I have been waiting close to 2 months and I didn't feel it necessary to raise my voice, insult and belittle someone.
I basically told him to shut up and just do his job, immediately called customer service to advise of this persons behavior. She had just spoken with him and she said he was rude and condescending to her as well and she was going to put a complaint in to his supervisor.
The only reason I allowed this person into my home was due to the fact we had already waited twice as long and my brother in law was present so I felt somewhat safe.
He continued on for a bit and I just did my best to shrug him off, I asked if he thought how he was acting was appropriate, he stormed off slamming my front door. Which now does not close properly, they also left a chip in my door frame!
So now i'm dealing with Ashley Furniture for that as well. Which i'm positive they will do nothing about.
