Lowballed the estimate, then started cutting corners and demanding cash topups. Get a VERY detailed estimate, make sure you both sign and date it and have a copy, and watch him like a hawk.

The job was estimated to take about 2 weeks.
It took almost 2 months.
After they were finished and gone, the new ceiling register installed in the bathroom fell out on its own THREE times in seven months.
I have since had to install a splash guard on the shower door and purchase blinds at an extra expense to myself.
We hired a different company to do the upstairs bathroom.

we interviewed atleast 6 contractors before we came across Phil Barski from Home-pro Canada. Although he looks young, his experience makes up for it. His staff is polite, punctual and professional. he told us it would take 2 weeks and finished in under that time. The results were perfect - and his input was invaluable considering we had no construction experience. A total pro and I would highly reccomend him and his company!!!
