In late June 2012 I received a quote on laminate flooring from the store manager. However, when I returned to purchase the flooring two weeks later, the price had increased. I was taken back by the lack of professionalism and it was truly difficult to believe the utter disregard displayed. The store manager could not explain why he had increased the price, as the sale was still advertised on-line. Having no choice, given my tight schedule, I purchased the flooring at the higher rate.

The product the customer is referring to was a laminate 12.3mm that was 3.5inches wide and was not advertised on our website just to make that clear for the record. Now when Mr. Mario came in 2 weeks before so called his purchase I gave him a discounted quote that was vaild for 1 week. After 2 weeks 2 gentlemen walked into our showroom and asked for the product without making reference to Mario or the quote given to him, purchased the floor and left. The total purchase was for $411. So the price difference the customer complained about came to only $20. Now in order to accommodate the client in good faith we will offer him a $20 credit on his next purchase. In the future if you receive a discount please honor the time limit on it and we will do the same also if you have a quoted price please either be present at the time of purchase or tell the people who come purchase on your behalf to explain to the sales rep that they are representing you and you have a discounted price.
