Move Seattle to Canada - Never use this company!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not use this company!!!!!

Everything damaged , sand pit toys on top of electrical good which in turn on top of Lamps!!!!
Brand new alloy wheels with winter tires damaged rims on every wheel. Its as if the truck crashed and was repacked.

How do you break a cast-iron pot?

Delivery from Montreal to Calgary was 3 weeks late. They lost one box and broke a Le Creuset cast-iron pot ($250). I didn't even know it was possible to break a cast-iron pot!

The Sales Manager, Brad A (notice how he omits including his last name in his email signature) was always "on a call" or "out of the office" whenever I would ask to speak to him regarding my issues. I feel bad for the young girl who answers the phone and has to deal with his cowardness.

Unprofessional

The salient points.
On both sides of the mover the actual movers showed up at random times and without the promised call ahead. On the packing side it was 2.5 hours early and no call to say they were coming. On delivery side 15 minutes late and still no call to tell me where they were.
Callous disregard of proper in terms of packing (& I paid for full packing) Then I had to hound them for a delivery and was then dictated as to when they would show up. No discussion. Finally once they got here they misquoted my bill and tried to charge me $400 extra. Because I wouldn't pay it they left my property outside in the snow. I am still going through my property and finding broken items.
DO NOT USE THIS MOVER

Kids and no delivery!! Horrible company!!

I'm writing this review without my stuff, and I'm terrified I won't get it all back after reading everyone else's review.

They tell you what you want to hear to you to get to book. They falsely tell you about your weight. How do I know without my stuff. We weighed before they took it and know it was not 3000lbs. We don't own that much as we thought we'd buy once we moved. Our first smart thought.
2- they don't care you're without even with kids. That you're paying out of pocket to live because your own personal belongings are sitting in a warehouse.
3 - manager is a horrible person. He told me to get a uhual and get it myself from Toronto. That's a 3 hr drive away and we'd still have to pay for a service they didn't even do! When I said no and that was a "joke" he talked for a few minutes then put me on hold because I would not hang up. Eventually a woman comes on cheery as the new day thinking I'll just give up. NOPE! The manager came back and hung up on me saying he'll wait for my husbands call (his name on the invoice) and that he only spoke to me to be "nice". He was rude.

I told him I'd give horrible reviews everywhere. He said that was a threat! It's truth!

We still do not have our stuff. I have two young kids who have nothing! If you ever do anything DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. weigh your own stuff first! That will give you a huge fighting ground. We did. Our only saving grace. Tell anyone who is moving. Save them the horrendousness of this company. I could go one and on. Those positive reviews I'd bet are them trying to boost their ratings. this cannot be claimed as slander when it's first hand experience.

Terrible Customer Service. They should be called "We might get all your stuff to you"

I just moved from Vancouver, Canada to open my companies new restaurant in Orlando. Before I went to Orlando I was sent by my company to Miami first for 6 weeks first to help at our restaurant there and than officially moved to Orlando on June 1st. Back home my parents had shipped 21 boxes of my personal belongings to my new residence in Orlando. The 21 boxes where shipped on May 20th 2016. When my stuff arrived on June 13th 2016 the box count was only 19. When I asked the driver if their were anymore boxes he said that was all he had. I first figured perhaps my parents condensed some boxes but after I received all my stuff I noticed that my expensive Meat Slicer that was given to me by my deceased Grandfather was missing and 7 of my Culinary Cook Books that were given to me from family and Chefs I had worked with in the industry, I first called the companies front desk and they told me I had to contact the warehouse that only has an email address and no phone number, I emailed them and they responded to me saying they would look for my belongings and I described to them everything that was in the boxes. I let it go by for a week hoping for a response and got nothing than I reached out to them again asking if they found my stuff and replied offering me $25.00!!!!! as a "We are sorry we lost your stuff" If I accepted the $25.00 that would mean I could not write a negative review, take legal action or contact the Better Business Bureau. I emailed them back in complete insult that they thought $25.00 would solve them losing prized possessions given to me from family, especially my grandfathers meat slicer. They than came back and offered me $50.00!!!! The total cost of everything in those boxes was just over $1000.00!!!! and had sentimental value to me. I than asked them for clarity on the matter or else I would contact BBB and than after a couple days they just never responded. I paid this company over $3000.00!!! to move not some of my stuff but ALL of my stuff. It is a little ironic that my two boxes that have some very expensive cooking supplies and books in them just happened to go missing. This company has taken no accountability or responsibility for losing my things. They tried to bribe me to keep my mouth shut about my experience and I cannot allow any other person to go through the same experience I have gone through with this company. I trusted them with my belongings and they clearly after I paid them didn't give a care in the world about what happened to my personal belongings. I cannot describe how upset I am especially knowing the had my grandfathers meat slicer taken from me and there is nothing I can do about it. This is not the way to treat anyone who pays a company to do the job they say they will do. --

MOVE FROM GRANDE PRAIRIE AB. TO BRANTFORD, ON.

I've waited 8 months after the move for this company to contact me about how the move went. This is the only company out of dozens I have dealt with on line that never contacted me to give them feedback on their service. Truck arrived on Mar. 21. The driver was alone except for his girlfriend who was recording and tagging items which totalled 339. Driver had no dolly or furniture cart for big items. Don't know how he thought he was going to carry couches, dressers, tables and other heavy items to the elevator, down 4 flights and out to the truck by himself. Luckily, I had both a dolly and a large cart, so I helped him load the whole truck. When he tried to carry large items by himself, he scraped the walls, the furniture wood and generally treated the items like he wanted to get out of there as fast as possible and to hell with being just a little careful. Delivery was promised for April 1 in Brantford. Load showed up 8 days late. My wife was by herself in Brantford for delivery. Delivery company wouldn't unload until she paid in full. The bill had $900.00 of extra charges. Several phone calls later between Ontario, Alberta and B.C., we got those charges removed. Also had truck reweighed. Load was 200 lbs. lighter in On. than AB. That's the weight of the fuel. Truck was weighed empty at one end and full of fuel at the other, so they wanted the fuel paid for twice. Items unloaded so fast my wife couldn't keep up trying to check them. There was no unloading list from the company. Of course she had to sign off on the delivery as being o.k.. It took her days to actually check everything. Between Grand Prairie and Brantford, the goods were loaded and unloaded at least 8 times by at least 3 moving companies. The damage was horrendous. This company and their sub contractors lost, damaged or destroyed more value than the move cost. There is no use trying to put claims in as the fight would cost thousands more (and they know that). Best I can do is WARN OTHERS NOT TO USE ACROSS CANADA MOVERS, EVER.

Moving Calgary to Toronto

WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER. STAY AWAY!!
I have never written a review for any company or anything before really, but if this can help even one person out I'd be glad. If you ever do/plan to move,
SERIOUSLY I AM NOT KIDDING WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY!!!!
They have had all of my belongings for almost a month now.
(clothes, shoes, furniture, books, kitchen utensils etc)
My delivery was picked up from Calgary on July 22nd (they were over 5 hours late for pick up as well btw)
Every time they are supposed to deliver, they call and tell me they are going to be a week late. Customer service is absolutely clueless and unprofessional in all of their dealings.
They changed an Aug 11th delivery to Aug 17th
Then on Aug 17th they changed the delivery to Aug 23d
On the 23rd, after I still had not received my delivery, after 6 calls, 2 hours of being out put on hold and then HUNG UP ON, I finally was able to speak to a man named Sam who said "we can 110% assure you that your stuff will be delivered to your apartment on the 26th"
On the 26th, when I STILL hadn't received my delivery, I was told "We don't ever give out delivery dates because we don't know when the delivery happens"
WTF????????
Today on the 26th, the delivery date has been changed to 9:00 am on the 27th. I called again to confirm this, and the lady on the line said they would call in an hour to see "what time they could make it."
Basically that means they are not delivering my stuff on the 27th either. This company is terrible. They aren't tracking any of my belongings, for all I know, they don't even have my things anymore. My entire life is in their stupid truck.
They are not even compensating for their unprofessional service, for any of my belongings, or any of the inconveniences they have put me through. If you or anyone you know is moving, DO NOT book with this company.

They take your things and transfer them through 4 or 5 other companies, and then each company says they are not responsible anymore. It is complete BULL.

RUN AWAY. TELL YOUR MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER, BROTHER, FAMILY, ENEMIES. EVERYONE. I would not want the devil himself to use such god awful service.

Move from Coquitlam to Kingston, Ontario

My worst nightmare. Most unprofessional, unethical movers. Losses/damage more than 55% of my shipment. Do not respond to messages/e-mails. They did not fulfill terms of the signed contract.The worst customer service once you have shipped the goods with them; basically take you for a ride. They lost more than 8 full sized boxes which the packed. Not willing to settle claims. My request to all do yourself a favour - never use this company Across Canada Van Lines.

Long distance moving Calgary-Vancouver

I hired this company because I have limited time for moving, they provide me reasonable rate. Every item was raped by myself, and all box had a label like Fragile... It toke 45 min to load their track, but they handled our stuff like garbage. I gave them nice tip in that hope, they will take care of it. I called the company since Tuesday-my moving date, and only Friday afternoon had an answer about a weight-which was over estimated for 4820 Lbs. I have only staff from 1 bedroom condo, lots of boxes, but I estimated all my furniture weight from brochures, and I scaled actually after when they unloaded. The approximately weight was 2340 Lbs, max 2500!!! They charged me a full amount, even I request a rescale before they unload.At Friday afternoon no one picked up the phone, one guy tried to reach me, he called me once, and I called back right away, and no answer... He told me Monday morning at 8.55, he tried many times even Sunday,-but I left a message on a voicemail, during my ride between Calgary and Vancouver probably I have no service. Anyway, my phone always receive a message from missed calls. Guess what? no message... So Monday when I tried to reach the company since 8 am, no answer, 8:55 finally I reached him, and he told me his offer, if I want to rescale the load again. The track was here already, the driver was pushy, and ordered me to pay right away, otherwise they have to go back, and they will charge me more... The offer was, if I want to rescale the company will charge me $400 just to unload, load to container, and load again into the truck. So I had 1 minute to decide to risk $400 more, or take their offer, and lose my money. .. They start unload, and most of the large items are broken, including our Dresser, all tables, mirror, pictures, bike, and OEM alloy wheels. I wont mention all fragile signed box underneath the heavy boxes,(books), a bottle of wine, a large plate and lots of small thing was broken. Almost every item has a damage because poor handling. They were bringing up 1 unknown luggage, even every item had a sticker with number. Our fitness ball was stubbed, because it use less space... I had a conversation with a very nice representative, he promised me many things, I sent a list of damaged items, and picture as proof. Nothing happened so far, no feedback, no call nothing. The GUY name is sam-I cannot use smaller font to write his name. I have all our conversation recorded, and probably he has power in his hand, to cover this case. I hope I can help to chose a right movers for most of the audience. please do not deal with this company, seams nice before contract, but trust me, it is worth it to pay for the company, who handle your property like their own. If you need more information, please white here, and I will contact you.

I moved from Toronto area to Vancouver and these guys just did a great job. No extra charge. No overweighting. Nothing. I was scared of other reviews first but I found out they do a great job for a cheap price. Just give tip to the people that come to your home and that might help to make it awesome.
