Roofing review in Calgary

The roofing repair was great. The way some individuals do business is questionable. Not a reflection of the company as a whole. In the future I suggest providing a quote before doing repairs so there are no surprises!

Hi Kris,
Please be assured that this is not how I run my roofing company. Unfortunely, Keith and I were out of town the entire week following that brutal wind storm, and Myles was left to deal with hundreds of calls and repairs himself. He got to as many roofs as he could to help everyone out.

Myles said he would do me a favour when we had extreme winds that tore patches of shingles off the roof. He came by and tarped the roof and said that because I have small kids he would "help me out". After the roof was patched I recieved a bill for $500 for the "emergeny tarping" to be made out to Myles himself. And another $1500 for patching roughly 30 square feet of singles. A couple of days later when the snow melted a very nice oil spill on the driveway was revealed. Haven't had dealings in the past with roofing companies but if this is the standard than I guess extortion is part of the job description. Thanks for "helping me out", and also cleaning up that oil spill Myles! Oh wait, you never did show up....
