We love our Magic Window window wall

We have been looking for several years for a window-wall solution that can withstand Ontario's extreme weather, but most options are designed for California weather. We were thrilled to find a made-in-Ontario option! The whole process from ordering to installation was easy and painless. The installers did a very good job and we are enjoying the additional light in our kitchen, great access to our backyard and the added features of a bug screen and sun shade.

We replaced four large windows in our old bungalow. We are very satisfied with the new windows and the special solar screens. They transformed our old house, and did very nice and clean work. We definitely would recommend their services!

Window & Garden door Replaced

What you see is what you get. This company followed through with everything they said they would within the timeframe they gave. Knowledgeable and friendly sales rep. Great warranty. Installation crew was in and out in under 5 hours; made sure everything was working as it should and cleaned up before leaving. Happy and satisfied from beginning to end.

pressure tactics to sign a contract and impatient to wait for my response less than 24 hours later

I do not recommend Magic Windows. I feel let down by the process that I was put through. I feel disappointed by the tactics used to try and make me sign a contract for more money when I was not ready to sign.

When making the appointment I explained that some of our windows were obstructed and we did not want to excavate. I was promised that an expert project manager would come out and "they've seen it all". Magic windows would tell us our options. After the first meeting with The project manager, we were under the impression that our project was viable without excavation, if the wood in our window frames was damaged/rotted, the installers would replace it as part of the quote. Also I made it clear that I needed any final decisions to be cleared by myself before making changes. The installer took inaccurate measurements. Then they were trying to charge us more for a Brick to brick install. Which we thought was already happening as our home is 60+ years old. Why would you reuse that ancient wood. Project Manager's answer was, well with the 40 year warranty, they'll just come out and fix it. Our retort, why not replace it the first time and not have to worry about it? The same project manager was there as she and my husband took measurements again and she was confused about how inaccurate the first measurements were. Project Manager sent the last quote in the evening. Which I did not see until I was on break during a 14 hour work shift. It included having my husband excavate a new window well area. I needed to go over this with him and see a timeline and also discuss our finances. Project Manager called twice during the day and left a voicemail stating that they wanted to send out a new installer to take accurate measurements but WOULD NOT until I signed the new and significantly larger quote. Since I was at work I thought, I'll just worry about this when I get home late tonight or fully read it tomorrow morning. Surprise, an installer shows up at my home and is turned away because I was not there and we needed to discuss the new information. The next email was from Magic Windows Innovations returning my paid deposit and one from Project Manager .Not everyone works 9-5 as I reminded Project Manager
and she reminded me that she stopped by on a holiday monday. When i booked the monday, I didn't realize it was a holiday, if It was such an issue, why would she take the appointment that day. I found that Magic Windows made changes without my permission, by cancelling the contract, they were in such a rush to book this project when we had no time to discuss the new excavation timeline or the new costs in the latest quote. We had been prepared to add a window wall in the back of our home in the future with Magic Windows and recommend them. Now we won't.
I observed that many of the lower rating reviews have been removed, I wish I had noticed that before contacting Magic Windows. Long story short, I do Not recommend Magic Windows and we are Very Happy with another Toronto company.

Walk out Basement Window Wall

I saw this product at the Cottage Life Show in March and was immediately impressed by the features it offered. I was looking for a window configuration that would be flexible to allow full access into the basement and also provide a large viewing area, so the Window Wall was the only product I found to satisfy my needs. Rick came and looked at my requirements as this was a custom door opening size which he said was no problem to fulfill. He also brought along samples of their product showing the unique features and construction of the window wall and it's strengths. This was nothing like I'd seen before and I was very impressed. I placed the order with him and within 4 weeks it was installed.

Patio Door

We love our new patio door from Magic Window Innovations. Our product advisor, Derek Landry, thoroughly explained the benefits of this product to us and it was obvious this was the right purchase for us. He also suggested we replace our existing patio door with a 7 ft. high door which has made a huge improvement to the look of our kitchen. The new patio door was delivered on time, (a bit sooner actually), and the installation process was flawless. Derek even called us the next day to answer any questions and to make sure we were happy. We are very happy. Magic Window Innovations is a quality company which delivers a quality product.

Magic Window Innovations

Magic Window Innovations
My wife and I needed to replace a sliding glass door off our kitchen. At the Aurora Home Show, we visited a number of window companies at which time we decided to invite 2 companies into our house for estimates.
We had the first company attend and thought they were good and seemed to have a pretty good product, but cost was high and sales person wasn’t exactly to impressive. The we had Rick from Magic Window Innovations attend our house, he was very personable, courteous and seemed to care about all our concerns. At no time was he pushy which was very nice, he left our house we discussed everything and called him back within about ½ hour to tell him we had decided to go with Magic Window Innovations, he returned we signed a contract and gave a down payment.
Rick had advised us that someone would contact us to come and measure the window within a week or 2. We were amazed that we got a call within 2 days and the person came on a Saturday morning. He was quick, and did not disturb us at all and got what he needed and left.
Next we got a call for an installation date which was Friday 24th May 2019, at 9AM. The day finally came, we were pleasantly surprised that they arrived at around 8:45AM, which we were very happy with (usually people are always late and keep you waiting). They were very courteous, and got right to work.
The 2 men both very good at their jobs, they knew exactly what their jobs were, and worked very quick and efficiently. They were very kind and considerate with us and any concerns we had. It was a pleasure to see and deal with such professional men. They finished the job quickly and professionally, then took the time to show us how the sliding glass door worked and how to maintain it. We were also impressed with the fact we were left with a bag that contained glass cleaner and Silicone spray to apply to the runners once every couple of months.
They then cleaned up after themselves and left our house and deck almost as clean as before they had been here. My wife and I then looked at their work and were very impressed at how well they had finished the work off. They were very efficient quick and did a very professional job. They should be commended for the work they do.
Then to top it all off we got a call from Rick, he asked where everyone was as he had come by our house to see how things were going and no one was home. I advised him we were heading up North for the weekend. I then told him was a pleasure it had been to deal with such a professional and efficient company.
You should be very impressed with your employees, and how well they deal with clients. It was a pleasure to deal with Magic Window Innovations.
