Had new roof installed summer 2019. My son was on the roof recently and found that no flashing was placed in between the two roofs (shown in photos). Called their office and was told they never place flashing in between two roofs. Just to warn anyone who has two roofs. Now I need to hire someone else to do the flashing for me. Tiles have also been ripped off (Robert said it’s the work of animals). Cost for repair is almost $400. This roofer doesn’t leave you a few shingles in case this happens, so be sure to hang on to the colour and make of the shingles in case this happens to you.

Hi Mary as explained in the phone call and email with the pictures of your animal damage sent to you, the animal damage is not covered under your warranty. We never leave shingles with our clients as we warranty any issue that are covered under a workmanship issue. However no companies cover animal damage.
As for the flashing, your roof was done correctly. There is no missing flashing between the 2 roofs. We went out and assessed your roof and explained this to you. If this was missing your roof would be leaking.
If you want a few shingles we can absolutely drop a few off when we are in the area. We will leave them on your porch.
