Brian and his partner Gerry were excellent. They put in 2 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, painted the whole house + did other repairs. The work was finished on time and on budget. As a bonus, they cleaned up everyday, as much as possible. The work is very high quality and beautifully finished. I have no hesitation in recommending this service.

Swift Services provides high quality work, on time and on budget. Brian is able to undertake most jobs, both exterior and interior. He is friendly and straight-forward. I'll certainly call him when I need other jobs done.

After moving into a new home, we were eager to build a two storey extension on the back of our house. We wanted to add a larger back room from our kitchen and expand the upper bedroom to make a much larger master bedroom. We were very nervous about choosing a contractor because the quotes received spanned a range difference of about $100,000! Brian's was reasonable and he seemed eager and ready to go. And go he did, our entire two storey extension took just about 8 weeks to finish!

We are so glad we picked Brian! He was on site every single day and even our neighbours commented on how dedicated he was and how meticulous he was in both the supplies he chose and the amount of time he spent on the project. Always early, always working, we constantly joked that Brian never walked when he could run! There was never another person on site that Brian wasn't here, too, overseeing everything that was going on and making sure that there was no mess at the end of the day.

Most miraculous of all was the care that Brian took in ensuring as little disruption as possible to our lives. He built an insulated wall between our house and the growing extension that was secure enough so that our cats wouldn't get out. We had no dust, no mess, and no complaints.

Of course, not everything was perfect, but Brian would immediately address any questions or concerns that we had, and work to make certain that we were happy. And we absolutely are. We will without question hire Brian again to work with us and we anticipate him having a long and prosperous career as a contractor. When even your neighbours rave about his work, you know he's doing great!

I appreciated Brian's professionalism. He offers alternatives with pros and cons. His work on our closet was very pleasing to us: our storage space was increased considerably, at a very reasonable cost and in a timely manner. It looks attractive and Brian made wise use of all the available space to maximize its usefulness. He also provided us with excellent references to other services we were in need of, including those of his partner, Jill Rochon of JR Painting. We are looking forward to having Brian work on other renovation projects at our house.

Brian did a great job renovating our basement. This project involved demolition, framing, drywall, electrical work, plumbling, flooring installation, etc. Brian made some good suggestions about how to make our layout more efficient - but he isn't someone who tries to pressure you to choose expensive upgrades/extras. His work is very professional and he also has good communication skills. The job was finished on time and on budget. We are so happy with our new basement.

Brian has done a few jobs for us over the last couple of years at our home and rental properties including building a deck for a second floor apartment. His workmanship is absolutely excellent. He offers great suggestions for design and to save cost. He is always on time and very well-priced. He is wonderful to deal with and a very honest and kind person.

Most notably he handled an unexpected roofing disaster for us while we were out of the country -he made time to essentially manage this for us, deal with upset tenants and get the right trades in to assist. Very very highly recommended.

I spend half of my time working in the US so my wife picked out some builders to renovate our entire basement. We chose swift because the builder was professional - unlike the competition. My father-in-law does a lot of renovations and he checked out the work half way through and told us that their work was excellent and to code which we were happy to hear. Went without a hitch and we have a nice basement with a new room setup and new bathroom!

We hired Brian's services on a number of occasions. The first was when we needed to carpentry work done on around our newly installed windows. Brian worked alongside his partner Jill, from JR Painting, and they got the job done quickly and concurrently. There was no waiting around for one contractor to finish before the other began. We later called Brian to help us finish some molding that was left incomplete and the job was done very efficiently and well. One small thing though, the "Swift" of Swift Services doesn't mean a job poorly done in haste; it means the job is done efficiently but well. No complaints at all here.

Brian at Swift is great - dependable and detail oriented. He's done a number of jobs around the house - including repairing water damaged ceiling, painting, window repair, fixture replacement and a kitchen reno. Jobs big and small. Comes when he says he will, returns calls, and the work is rock solid. Also friendly and flexible. Pricing it totally reasonable.
