Although we had recently installed a top of the line Lennox furnace in our home it hadn't been set up to match the exsisting duct work effectively. Frank told me it was fan speeds and balancing dampers that he adjusted to make rooms warmer that were always cold and rooms comfortable that were always stifling.
I found it hard to beleive nobody had done this before.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $350.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Find a way to let more people know that they are out there and what they can do for your home comfort.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- $350.00 isn't much to have a more comfortable home. I think my gas bill may come down as well because I can now set the thermostat at 21 instead of 23 or 24 and those formerly cold rooms will still get warm.

Thanks Ruthie. I am glad to have helped with improving the performance of your new furnace as well as the comfort level in your home. Please mention it to your friends.
In defense of heating and air conditioning service people who haven't done this for you or other customers in the past a couple things could be noted.
1/ Furnaces are more complicated than ever with many features and performance adjustments possible internally. Manufacturer's need to insist on training technicians who install and service these products.
2/ The owners of the heating contracting companies need to add thorough training to their business plan. 3/ Home owners need to ask and insist that their furnaces are tuned to the best performance they can provide with their existing duct system. thanks again
