Turner Clean

After buying a resale home last year we didn't have much time to get it ready before we moved in. Ed was very patient and spent quite a lot of time on the phone with me describing exactly what he could and couldn't deliver within our time and budget constraints. He was also very sensitive to the fact that I was pregnant and recommended safe products and procedures that would not impact my health or the environment. He showed up as promised and worked extremely hard during some hot summer days to clean our rather filthy "new" home and get it ready for us to move in. He refinished the floors using his sandless method, on the understanding that it isn't as durable as resanding and varnishing, but we were happy with the way the floors were 'refreshed' in a clean and non-disruptive way. Ed himself was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some helpful tips about other areas of home maintenance in addition to his flooring instructions. We were very satisfied with the service and got exactly what we were promised at the price quoted. I would definitely recommend Turner Clean!

We just moved in and had to clean the rugs. It looked like they hadn't done in years. Ed came in and did an excellent job. He worked extra hard on the worst parts and came back afterwards to treat a really bad spot.

Ed recommended the best sealer and top coat, my store floor is easy to maintain and Ed is very hands on, great advise. We get so many comments on the store floor, once i had painted it Ed came in with the best equipment and worked his majic, customers have thought the floo was wet, but is the shine that makes the difference, thank you Ed.

Do we refinish our floors or bite the bullet and replace them? That was our dilemma.

We had Turner Clean come in to look at them. They took a solution and scrubbed one small section that had blackened over the years; which we thought was from water. After about a minute of scrubbing, the black had come out.

Our floors are about 40 years old, and although refinishing was necessary, I did not want to re-sand them down. Re-sanding would take the character out of them, cause a lot of disturbance in the home, cost a lot more than we planned on and leave us with a finished product that may or may not meet our expectation. The area that needed to be done was the entire main level of the home.

So Turner Clean proposed a system where they would deep clean the floors, stain areas that required blending and refinish them with a polyurethane. Seemed to be a lot of labour involved as well as a lot of drying time. My feeling was that this would cost close to the price of new hardwood and would shut our home down for at least a week. When I got the quote, I was very surprised as I expected at least 50% more, also, I was told that the job would be completed in 2-3 days. So far, everything sounded great, however I planned on 5-7 days before we could return our furniture, after-all, everyone under estimates their time.

Three days later, our furniture is back in place, the invoice was exactly as quoted and he even left us a supply of cleaning solution. One week later, he called us to make sure we were happy with the job. We were delighted. The floors came out great, there was no mess, the job was done timely and the price was great.
