RWF Custom Contracting

We have recently had the pleasure of working with RWF to build a deck and a fence. From the very first contact we knew we were working with somebody who had work ethic and integrity. Ryan was always on time, easy to contact at all times, and very flexible. The project was started ahead of the schedule and finished on time. Any changes and modifications that needed to happen, even some last minute ones, were accomodated. This was the most timely team we have ever had experience working with. No cancellations, no re-schedules, no postponing, or missed days. They went above and beyond junk removal, even took care of our old patio set!

I live in an old Victorian rowhouse. Over the years things had gotten away from me and I no longer felt able to tackle them myself. I used to hate coming home because everywhere I looked I saw things that needed doing. I found RWF Contracting through the NextDoor. I found Ryan to be very easy to deal with. Over the past couple of years he and Hubert have repaired holes in my walls, painted, installed crown molding, laid laminate, rebuilt my back steps and recaulked my bathtub. The work has always been done on time, for a reasonable price and with a pleasant attitude. One of the things I like best about Ryan is that he is willing to do smaller jobs too unlike some contractors.

The work is not yet done on my house. There are always things coming up that need doing. But it's nice to know that I have someone reliable to take care of them for me. I would recommend RWF Contacting in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately poor quality of work. Its been a year and a half since Ryan and his team installed new stairs in our house: 2 out of 3 newel posts are already wobbly, 85% of spindles are wobbly as well, every other step is extremely squeaky, some of the risers fell off. Feels like RWF team didnt use any glue while capping the stairs and everything is holding on the pin nails. I'm not even going to start about sloppy cuts and finishes, multiple gaps in the brand new hardwood floors, baseboards that float half an inch above the ground, drywall that was installed directly to the plaster walls (no framing, even though we paid extra for that), original iron vent covers was working perfectly fine before they touched them, now they barely open and close. But it's not even the worst part. Ryan was dishonest with us. He supposedly "installed" a bathroom fan in our second floor bathroom that after some time we found out was not connected to outside and it was venting into our attic space. We also asked him to fix the subfloor that was damaged while removing the tiles, he never addressed this issue and installed vinyl floors directly over damaged floors. I would not recommend working with RWF contracting.

Creative design and quality work, on time. Used them for a couple of projects and will definitely use their services again.
