We hired Stamped Concrete to do our front entrance covering aprox 500 sqf and adding an extension to our driveway with stamped concrete with a very specific request for stone look. Given that we were already going to do some concrete work we also fixed the bottom of our driveway that was sinking along the curb. We also poured a foundation for a shed in our back yard.
We did quite a bit of research to find the right contractor, evaluating cost and previous work done by this company at other houses they pointed out. This was verified by a stamp on the concrete at other houses.
After deciding to go with this company we met with Paul to fine tune details of what we wanted. We met later on also with Joe and signed contract at the beggining of April 2017.
The execution was planned appropriately to our satisfaction and depending on the rain. It took approximately 2 weeks with all details finished. I would say the heavy work was all done in 1 week.
The foundation for the shed in the back yard turned out great!
Working with Joe was a very good and satisfying experience. He was able to accomodate all of our additional requests, small details that arise typically as you see the progress of the work. He was also very helpful making his suggestions to the design and layout. We did go along with his suggestion.
Joe did go the extra mile and found the step for our front door to the size we were looking for. He also did a great job with landscaping and helping out with the black soil for our flower bed.
They took away all the debris and gabage. cleaned up after their work, front yard is spotless.
The execution in my opinion went perfect and payments were made according to the contract's payment terms (based on milestones of the project). Neighbours would stop by during the execution to look around and some, I believe, did hire Joe after seeing his work.
We are very happy with the end result and with the execution of the project. Everything went smooth and the price was right. I would definitely recommend Joe and his company Stamped Concrete.
