Jeremy Nightingale

My husband and I found Jeremy when we dropped into Ripples Kitchen and Bath after a disaster (flood) in our apartment that left us facing an unplanned renovation/restoration. Jeremy's "a-la-carte" method of quoting was easy to understand and allowed us complete freedom in deciding what we wanted Jeremy or others (like the insurance company) to do. All of Jeremy's crew were helpful and professional. Our job was completed in very short order (important since we were virtually homeless as our apartment was not unihabitable) and with care and attention to details. Our foreman (Tristan) was particularly efficient and fussy about the details. Jeremy was responsive to our needs, met with us as and when we needed, made himself available at all times and generally did an excellent job. Our home is beautiful!!! Any difficulies we had were resolved quickly and with a minimum of fuss. And, in the end we were very close to budget! I would not hesitate to recommend Jeremy (and Ripples) to you.

Mr. Nightingale failed to pay sub-trades, ran out of money on the project when paid in full, failed to pay suppliers. Left us with leans on our house from unpaid workers. Never ever to be trusted. Won't return calls or make up for his deceit.

Unlike the other reviews here, we found Jeremy very reliable. We discovered Ripples and Jeremy in our search for a renovator for our 20 year old downtown concrete townhouse. He was very helpful from the begining and gave us a well defined quote that was competitive and easy to understnad. He had very good ideas to keep some of the costs in line and yet give a very good finished product. As with most renos, it got a little bigger as we went along, but he kept us informed of the cost changes and worked with us to keep these costs in line. We ran into a few minor delays on delivery of some items, but again we were kept informed and the end result was very good. I would highly recommend Jeremy and Ripples for a home renovation project. They are competitive and have good access to qualified trades to execute in a timely manner.

like the previous review great ideas initially but as time when on he started not showing up non of the big ticket item arrived (all doors, windows, bathroom vanity, tiles etc..) started asking us to pay for things like the tiler and windows.... kept telling us everything was coming and extending the arrival dates of items.... also he never paid any of his electricians/plumber/tilers, all workers complaining they never got paid... where did OUR money go!!!??? so now we are stuck with an unfinished basement..... BEWARE DO NOT TRUST, BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

The contractor had all sorts of great ideas initially, but as time went on he didn't deliver on them, he also started coming late and was eventually impossible to get a hold of. BEWARE!!!
