We found HSG - Richard and Jennifer on Homestars. After reviewing their work and reviews we hired them for the project. I thought the estimate to be a tad expensive for a smaller bathroom but not out of line with others, and as I soon realized, these 100 year old homes present many difficulties for contractors. If you want something done properly then expect to pay for it. The crew started on time and worked throughout the job (Mon - Sat). Slated for 2 weeks it went on for 4 (but the last 2 weeks were finish ups and corrections on the odd day). There were some minor issues along the way but those were quickly sorted out by Richard and Jennifer. The end product is fantastic and on budget. I would highly recommend HSG to others and will keep them at the top of my list for future renos.
