Steve's Contracting

Hired Steve to build 2 decks, his quote indicated he would finish the work in 3 weeks, his team worked occationally on our decks for 2.5 months and finally dissapeared without finishing the job. I had to hire someone else to finish their work and am out of pocket thousands of dollars. I was also contacted by another one of his clients who was trying to track down an address for Steve as they were taking legal action against him for cracking the foundation of thier heritage home, causing massive dammage and then dissapearing. Beware....he not good nor honest.

I hired Steve's contracting which was the biggest mistake i've ever made.
He never showed up when he said he would and his workmanship was brutal. Whatever you do,do not hire steve's contracting!

I hired Steve's Contracting to renovate the main floor of a rental. Steve talked a good game, but when it came to working it was the exact opposite. He started the job late, never once showed up before 9:30AM, was generally gone by 3:00PM, very often with a two hour lunch. Then he wouldn't show up for a few days. What was supposed to be a 7 day job turned into one month, leaving my tenants with no water for a couple of days.

When he was supposed to come back, he never showed. I had to hire another contractor to finish the work, for which Steve was supposed to reimburse me. Needless to say, I never saw the money. I have since found out that he took thousands of dollars from someone else.
