Lyle has been a true professional throughout the whole project. When we hired Lyle he was open, honest and transparent. The level of details provided gave me a considerable amount of confidence that we chose the right professional for the job. He manages the project in its entirety and even worked with other contractors and coordinated times and deliverables so work could happen concurrently while ensuring our timeline was not compromised. We bought a dated brick home and Lyle and team transformed our come into a dream home. He did the whole home is stucco and stone, he helped us with colour panels, stuck to budget and delivered exactly what he committed. He did not cut any corners or compromised on the integrity of the project.

Lyle complete the full home remodelling including the stucco, stone, porch and railings. I couldn’t be happier with the final product.

He’s exceptionally knowledgeable and can make any vision a reality. There are many contractors out there that will cut corners, use scrap pieces of foam to make frames and coins but Lyle stand behind his products and work. True professional and highly recommend Lyle and team.

Stonecrafters refaced our front porch over 5 yrs ago and we are very pleased with and still get compliments on our front porch. We just replaced our front door, and there was a small gap between the new sash and the stonework that the door people didn't want to deal with. I called Lyle to see if he could help and he sent someone to fill the gap with mortar promptly and at no cost. Thank you Lyle! Really appreciate your help and would recommend you to friends!

Job was done in Fall of 2014, still looks great. Lyle and Orhan fulfilled our main criteria, came when promised, finished on time and kept us informed throughout process. These qualities are hard to find today. Also were open-minded to our last minute changes (trim). We would not hesitate to use them again.

We have hired Stonecrafters to do two major projects on our property and we were completely thrilled both times. Several years ago, they replaced the front porch, steps and walkway with beautiful stone. They crafted it so that rain trickles away from the house perfectly. They did a great job and their stonework is the best feature of our house. We get a lot of compliments.

We also hired them to take out a back deck we didn’t want and create a lovely stone patio. It, too, keeps water away from the house nicely. It’s unique and beautiful — another major improvement to our property.

Their work has always been done right on schedule, at a good price, exactly as promised but with extra touches that make the results extra nice, and they always cleaned up the work site completely so there was nothing left for us to do but enjoy!

Years after the projects were complete, Lyle has always replied promptly with answers to our questions (recommending someone to do caulking around the foundation of our house, and how to clean the stonework).

We have referred a few other people to Stonecrafters and they were all extremely happy with the results.

Lyle and his staff are honest, hardworking, highly skilled craftsmen, and a real pleasure to deal with. Great work at a reasonable price. We recommend them very highly. 10/10!

The existing cast concrete front steps were replaced with solid concrete steps & refaced. Within 2 years some of the facing stones came loose. Eventually all of the facing stones on the steps came loose. The concrete beneath the steps crumbled away. I called & emailed owner Lyle but he didn't respond. I hired a stonemason to rebuild the steps. He used steel re-bar which, he said, should have been used in the original job. He replaced facing stones under the steps with considerably thicker stone for added support. Clearly Stonecrafters workmanship & materials were inferior & Lyle does not stand behind the work. Hire a professional stonemason, not a stonecrafter.

Lyle provided the quote and Sebastien did the work. Both knew their industry and trade intimately. Sebastien and another very nice fellow, who may have been his father, did the project in a very workmanlike and professional manner. They kept the site clean and you barely knew they had been there after they finished. They did a beautiful job just like old world craftsmen. The cost was the same as another competing quote but I had a greater feeling of comfort with Lyle, someone who really knew his stuff, was organized and professional.
