Tony from Inch By Inch is the most thorough home inspector I've dealt with. He's also very friendly and easy to communicate with. He covered all the bases and kept us informed during the walk through. He has extensive knowledge on building codes, building maintenance and many of the related trades. His written report was very detailed and helped us make an informed decision.

Tony conducted a home inspection for a home that I put an offer on. From start to finish Tony’s attention to detail was impeccable! He took his time and thoroughly went through all the major and minor components in the house and explained in each step what he was looking for and what he was finding. He had the right equipment (thermal camera, mold test kit) and alerted me to issues that you could not see with the naked eye. Tony was there on time. He took his time and went everything with me step by step. I loved the fact that his inspection includes the thermal camera. Not many inspections do that, or they might charge extra. So he was able to detect moisture that wouldnot have been detected with the naked eye. I got the sellers to fix up all the major repairs. I was able to save $2500 in home repairs!!

Tony came out to do our inspection exactly when he said he would be there. I was amazed by the professionalism he went through every room of our new house. He was there for more than two hours, took dozens of pictures, and explained everything our new home would need. Besides he is very friendly and has a good sense of humour too.
