I had a few mold concerns in my newly purchased home. I am so glad to have found "Inch by Inch" to inspect my home and alleviate any fears I had and worth every penny. Tony was really great to work with. He was punctual, thorough and very knowledgeable. Thanks to his expertise I was able to address areas with mold problems and also avoid future mold problems. Unbeknownst to me I had some bathroom vents improperly installed about a week before the inspection but thanks to Tony I was able to recall the workers and have them correct their work and avoid future mold in the attic.

I had concerns regarding mold in a rental property I own. My tenant was also complaining of mold like symptoms so I had to be very prompt and thorough in my follow up to ensure the safety of my tenants. Tony was excellent in helping to advise and follow up on all my concerns in a timely manner. He was friendly and willing to spend extra time answering all my questions even after hours.

Tony is very detailed oriented. As an investor, his inspection has been the difference between a good buy and a great one.

We had a ywater leak thoroughbred the foundation that came from an overflowing gutter into the laundry room. I called inch by inch inspections. I talked to an inspector named Tony Muscat. I explained to him what has happened. He said that mold will develop within the first 24-48 hours. Also not to tare down the drywall and baseboards myself.. It will disturb the mold spores. He was very thorough explaining what he was going to do to check for moisture and mold.

When he showed up he showed me where the source of moisture is through his moisture detection tools Tony explained what needs to be done step by step. Gave me some options of how to rectify the problem. Gave me some referrals for rebuilding the laundry room. What needs to be cleaned and fixed right away and what can wait. I would definitely recommend Tony Muscat from inch by inch inspections.

In preparation of the purchase of a home, I hired Inch by Inch to do a home inspection and check for any existing problems. The service provided was extremely thorough. I was given a summary of all the positive work that was done in the home, as well as any work that had yet to be completed, in order to resolve existing problems. The Inspection of mold pointed out any problematic areas and solutions in order to resolve those issues. Mr. Tony Muscat was extremely approachable, very open and willing to answer all my questions. Tony from Inch by Inch Inspection is amazing. He inspected all the areas of my home and was very good at explaining and educating the different aspect of home inspection protocol including different types of molds. Tony is very detailed and respected my home as if it was his. The services he provided included the air quality testing on all levels of my home including the outside air. Once he received the results back in a week’s time he emailed it to me and we talked on the phone to review the data. At that time, I casually mentioned that we had found a wet spot on the basement carpet and was not sure where it was coming from. The next evening he was at my home with his Thermal Imaging Flir T460 camera to see where the source of the water was coming from. It was so neat to see how he could locate moisture right through carpets, walls, etc. and to see where the water source was. In my case, there was more water than what I expected and before I knew it had a mold problem. He immediately, recommended the best mould remediation specialist (AMR) and I was talking to him in minutes and making plans to contract him to remove the mold and a safe and healthy way. Tony certainly went above and beyond what I expected and for that I am extremely grateful. He is the best home inspector I have ever met and I would highly recommend him to anyone. We called him in to check air quality after having our basement gutted as a result of mold. He ran tests upstairs and in the basement as well as outside as a control.

Unfortunately the results came back negative on the first round.
Which meant I had to bring in the original Mold removers to scrub things down again.

Tony showed up after a couple weeks to allow things to settle and ran a second test. This time we got the results we wanted. Clean air.

Tony was very thorough in his advice on keeping things dry and was very informative on multiple follow up calls. I honestly got to the point where calls with tony lasted longer than calls home to the wife, hahaha.
