We arranged with Tony to replace our outdated siding with Hardie siding, replace soffit, fascia and eavestroughs, and install a metal roof over our bay window. We were impressed with the quality of their work and the professionalism of the team(s) who performed this work. Each team involved in this job was thorough, conscientious, and worked with care and attention to detail (even on parts of the job that would be hidden from view, e.g., insulation, home wrap).

End result: a beautiful job from start to finish. We recommend Tony and his crew unreservedly.

Our old and tired-looking detached garage has been given new life!

Originally the building was painted wood siding, which was flaking badly and not protecting the structure’s walls from wind, rain, and snow. We did a lot of work to strengthen the structure from the inside and had a new roof put on, but it was Westwood’s work with the siding that made our garage a beautiful new focal point of our backyard.

Jose, who installed the new siding on our garage, was meticulous in his attention to detail, and he offered great advice on some specific elements like the precise placement of mounting points for the exterior lights. The fact that this is an old building and nothing is perfectly square or plumb—didn’t stop Jose from making it look amazing.

Great workmanship, great service, and great value for what we paid. We will definitely recommend Westwood to friends and neighbours.

In the process of helping my mother downsize and list the big family home, Tony and Westwood Aluminum were a real godsend to fix the eyesore of the backyard upper bay window that had chipped paint all over the old wood beneath it. Despite my being satisfied with his appraisal from a digitally-sent photograph, he insisted on a quick site visit, not only to better ascertain the scope of work, but to be precise in exact colour matching, from his hundreds of samples, to the newly painted trim elsewhere. He quickly sent me a very reasonable quote, which I jumped at, and expressed concern that we had a time constraint- the photographer was coming in less than a week’s time. He then had his industrious installer come in less than 2 days, and completed the work in about 2 hours! We were thrilled with the result and got 2 offers the first day! Unlike most tradespeople I had to deal with during that time, who over promised and under delivered, Tony and Westwood Aluminum exceeded all expectations and were an absolute pleasure to work with. We recently replaced our aluminum siding, soffits, fascia and eaves. We wanted to go with Hardie Board. After making inquiries with several other contractors, we decided to go with Westwood Aluminum. From the first time we met Tony, he was pleasant, knowledgeable and trustworthy. We also used this opportunity to increase the R value and installed additional insulation. What a difference it made.

His work crews were professional and did the work to a high standard in a timely manner. We are very happy with the new look of our home..bye bye 1980s.

I contacted a few siding company's for quotes to replace our vinyal siding with new vinyl and went with Tony at Westwood. He was the only one to come and see the house and speak to me in person. They had great reviews here on HomeStars. So I decided to go with them. I wasn't disappointed. They did a great job. A couple of minor issue that Tony resolved right away. I am more then satisfied with the company and job.

The cedar shingles on our midtown semi were in an advanced state of decay and we considered three contractors to replace the shingles. We selected Tony at Westwood Aluminum based on his knowledge and advice and the quality We selected Tony at Westwood based on his knowledge of thesitesof his previous work (we visited a couple of his job sites). We were extremely pleased with the work of Tony's team. The team was very efficient, finishing the job on schedule on budget in just under a week in August and the new Maibec siding looks fantastic! Maibec is a much more expensive option than vinyl but looks much better in our opinion. We would highly recommend Westwood to anyone looking to have exterior work done on their house!
