New shingles for our home and garage
We hired Royal York Roofing in 2011 to redo the roof of our home and garage.
We recently noticed some water infiltration at the base of our skylight. After sending an estimator to assess the situation, Pavel booked Dennis to do the necessary repairs.
Dennis was easy to talk to and he did a great job repairing the roof.
New shingles and asphalt roofing for our home and garage
We hired Royal York Roofing in 2011 to redo the roof of our home and garage. While initially satisfied with the work, we recently discovered significant water damage to the roof of our garage. Rotted plywwod. Water infiltration into the building. Luckily the flooring in our garage is concrete or we would have had a much bigger problem on our hands. There is, however, damage to the drywall.
After a number of calls to the office we were finally contacted by their estimator. He came and took a look, said we'd hear back from his superior Pavel. Which, after following up a number of times, we eventually did. We agreed that the work should fall under the 15 year warranty that was provided. However, our Tuesday booking has now come and gone and I haven't heard a word from Royal York. No call to cancel the appointment. Nothing.
As it stands, we have significant water infiltration and no word from the company. We spent a lot of money on our roof. Probably more than we should have. One would expect some kind of value for their money; a willingness on the company's part to honour their agreements. To date, I have yet to see much willingness on the company's part to make things right.
To say I'm disappointed with with their follow-through to-date would be a serious understatement.
