A&A Masonry

The whole experience with A&A Masonry was great. From the point at which Brad gave a detailed and competitive quote through to Andy calling me to schedule the work ahead of the promised date to the professionalism of Joe's tuckpointing crew and Renaldo's chimney work, this was a terrific job. The crews did great work, matched replacement bricks, tinted the mortar to match existing, answered all my questions and left the place as clean as they found it. Their price wasn't the cheapest but it wasn't the most expensive either and I felt I got great value in the end. I read the other reviews on Homestars before hiring them and it worked out great.

We greately appreciate the work done by A & A Masonry. We needed to have the chimney rebuild and some bricks replaced at the corner of the garage and at the corner of the house. The problem was that we had the deck attached to this corner and it partially blocked the access.
A & A Miasonry did great job through the whole process. The estimator was prompt, effective and knowledgable. The quote was very reasonable. And they were ready to find the way to work around the deck (some other companies replied - remove your deck and call us back; we definitely never called them again).
Scheduling was also great. They called us to check what dates work for us. They sent one team which checked the deck and the access and recommended to get another team with more suitable equipment. I was afraid it would put us back in line. But other team came the next day and did all the work. They not only did the great job for chimney and brick replacement but were also very careful with the deck. They had to remove one wall, and they install it back so you never say it was even touched. Also the cleaning was great; they didn't leave it till the end but kept the area as clean and debries free as possible during the whole project. Thanks a lot!!!

A&A stood up to their motto "We deliver what we promise". From the first phone call right to completion of the job, I knew what to expect, was kept informed - and the workmanship was perfect. The site was left cleaner than when they started (all the bricks were flaking and falling off). Would have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you A&A

Never thought I would get the job done so quickly.
Brad who gave me the quote was very knowledgeable and was key to our decision to go with A&A. We thought we would have to wait till May but we got a call in late March and the next day my chimney was fixed before I got home from work. Clean up was excellent and a special request regarding a cemented basketball pole was completed in a very professional manner.
I liked the fact that my chimney cap was painted and put on the new chimney rather than thrown away and a new one installed when I really didn't need a new one.

I was most impressed with A and A. They gave me an honest estimate. They were thorough and Brad helped me understand what needed to be done and what DID NOT need to be done. Call them. They know a lot about houses and construction.

I returned home to a homeowner’s worst nightmare, an issue with my house. One of the pillars in the front of my house had cracked and the front porch wasn’t being held up by anything because of it. I emailed A&A and they came out the next day to review the issue. The team was awesome, the work great and the experience overall is why I am writing this review. I would recommend A&A without hesitation.

Ronaldo from A&A was great! I had a new chimney built and lock top damper installed...a great job done. The clean up was very good. Thanks so much to Andy, I will definitely send anyone else who needs chimeny or brick work your way.

We had a flood in our basement and Corrine in the office was AMAZING!!! She quickly responded and we had a team working on waterproofing. The team worked efficiently and did quality work. I would definitely recommend A & A Masonry for waterproofing.

We were looking for someone to repair some stone work that had shifted and posed a danger to anyone using our front entrance. We looked to Home Stars for a referral and liked what everyone had to say about A&A. I first contacted them just before Christmas and they were very friendly. I got caught up in the holidays and had not got back to them so they called me to see if I was still interested in having the work done, which I appreciated because we really did need the repair job but have a tendency to procrastinate especially since I could have had an iPad for the price of the job, on the brighter side we no longer have to worry about bodily harm upon entering or exiting our home. All in all, A&A called again when they said they would and did the job within 24 hours of calling. The day the job was done I came home and found no evidence that anyone had been there except for seeing that the work was done, there was no mess of any kind. The work was done neatly, and my husband who is very fussy and precise in his own work gave them a thumbs up. Payment was very professional as they were not calling my home asking for the money before the work was even started as another company I rated poorly did.
Not knowing much about stonework I am probably completely failing to say how well the work matches up with what was already there. Many thanks to Phil, Corine and Andy for all their help.
